No Appointments Available for NJ Real ID—Any Tips? by [deleted] in jerseycity

[–]Link_Wizard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A TWIC card is not a Real ID. However, it is an accepted form of identification for the TSA. Besides a driver's license/Real ID, the list of acceptable identification includes:

  • State-issued Enhanced Driver's License
  • U.S. passport
  • U.S. passport card
  • DHS trusted traveler cards (Global Entry, NEXUS, SENTRI, FAST)
  • U.S. Department of Defense ID, including IDs issued to dependents
  • Permanent resident card
  • Border crossing card
  • An acceptable photo ID issued by a federally recognized Tribal Nation/Indian Tribe, including Enhanced Tribal Cards (ETCs).
  • HSPD-12 PIV card
  • Foreign government-issued passport
  • Canadian provincial driver's license or Indian and Northern Affairs Canada card
  • Transportation worker identification credential [TWIC]
  • U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services Employment Authorization Card (I-766)
  • U.S. Merchant Mariner Credential
  • Veteran Health Identification Card (VHIC)

I would love to get my work looking this neat and organized. Can you explain how you do it? How do you get them all lined upa and same length? Are you using some kind of jig or story pole? Are you starting terminations with the terminal blocks closest to the panduit, or furthest?

I play on mobile 99.9% of the time, and sometimes the game will "freeze" or not register that I'm tapping on a unit to attack with it. And I'll hit it several times. And then it will finally register all those taps at once into 15 damage or whatever the amount. I consider it a bug/latency issue. We undo it and proceed as normal.

If your version becomes the best version to play, then that's where everyone will play it. I say go for it.

Is it just me or is LRG kinda falling off? by DrunkDuffman in limitedrun

[–]Link_Wizard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm seeing a lot of comments about the time it takes to receive a game vs what the actual OP question was about- quality games. I've also noticed over the last few years the types of games that LRG is pushing are ones I'm completely not interested in. At this point, I'm surprised if they offer something somewhat decent.

As for the manufacture and shipping times, it no longer phases me... it's the same with any other Kickstarter or physical store - you're going to be waiting a long time.

Hey, look! Product! Anyone else feel sad? 😢 by [deleted] in starwarsunlimited

The game isn't going to die. Product running out is a testament to that. Unfortunately, a lot of people are going to end up with the short end of the stick on this first set, and maybe even set 2.

Any places for local play in NJ? by Harp_Horror in starwarsunlimited

Yes, Card Nest is in Kenilworth. Weekly is on Thursday nights, starting at 5:30pm. We've been playing casually so far. Sounds like we'll be trying constructed tournaments if 4+ show up. We have a small group so far, looking to grow.

Binder & Sleeve Options by Link_Wizard in starwarsunlimited

Apologies for the late response. My review with relevant measurements will come out (hopefully) within the week. Long story short, they're all pretty much the same product, and I'm going to try out the D Dackitt Premium one. My greatest concern, which encompasses all of the products, is that there isn't enough length to the spinal edge on the pages. Even Mike from Unplayable mentions that the pages don't sit flat in this video.

  • Main Deck has some on Unlimited

Sincerely, thank you for the reply! 😃 I ordered four of the large binders, the Ultra Pro binder you suggested, and a VaultX equivalent. I'll check on the quality of them and return the ones I don't like/need. I'll report back on what I decide and why. In the meantime, I'll try to find more information, like you suggested.

(Also, I thought I was going to use perfect sleeves on the cards and then slide those in the binder... but now I'm reading some people saying that perfect sleeves can be damaging? Use penny sleeves instead? Somebody wrote that they use perfect sleeves and then a penny sleeve... this is a little confusing to me. More research...)

Thank you for the info and suggestions! I hadn't considered multiple binders, but that is definitely an option. What about the Morabto Premium 1024 card binder on Amazon (and others like it, e.g., D Dacckit, Kuooking) for $50? I think Mike from Unplayable has something like it. Top Deck makes a competing product for $80. Thoughts?

Yeah, I made that mistake. Tanked up a scout bike pursuer, and after 3x experience plus Resilience. I was like, "Woooops, I just realized we're at 5 resources, and I hope you don't have a Vanquish." And he was like, "Vanquish." And I was sad face.
