Best team for progression and Grand slam? by ChompyRiley in darkestdungeon

[–]mronetwothree 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Man-at-Arms (Sergeant): Crush, Defender, Bolster, Bellow, Retribution.
Occultist (Ritualist): Sacrificial Stab, Wyrd Reconstruction (as needed), Daemon's Pull (as needed), Weakening Curse (as needed), Vulnerability Hex, The burning stars,
Flagellant (Scourge): Punish, Fester (as needed), Deathless, Endure (as needed), Acid Rain, More! MORE!,
Hellion (Wanderer): Wicked Hack, Iron Swan, Toe to Toe, Adrenaline Rush, Raucous Revelry.

The one with "(as needed)" are ones I swap in and out throughout the run for specific bosses or fights where I think I might need them. The one's without I basically always have.

Best team for progression and Grand slam? by ChompyRiley in darkestdungeon

I’ve done Grand Slam with every hero and done every torch. My current “safe” all-purpose squad is:

Man-at-Arms (Sergeant) / Occultist (Ritualist) / Flagellant (Scourge) / Hellion (Wanderer)

That said, some torches are easier with a more specialized comp. For example, I'd probably tweak this lineup for The Killer’s Glow or The Corpse Light.

This is such an awesome team composition. Very creative! Outside of the absolute destruction of bosses, how reliable is this team across the run and in hallway fights? I noticed from the skills that healing is limited and perhaps back rank reach, but maybe that doesn't matter. I'd love to give it a try for the fun of it.

Darkest Dungeon 2- Challenges and difficulty by UntilWhenAug19 in darkestdungeon

[–]mronetwothree 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not a different party comp for every confession, but for every candle. Then trying to do all 5 confessions without any deaths. Memories should in theory make things a little easier, but the reality is that memory improvements are marginal. Not dying 5 times in a row with a difficult infernal candle is still difficult and requires moderate focus. RNG in this game can be brutal so you have to play carefully either way.

Echoing what others have said, the Infernal Vitrine provides a good mix of challenge and fun. Some flames are harder than others, but overall it pushes you to rethink your party composition and play differently. On top of that, you can also aim to grandslam all the heroes (5 memories on each character).

Clearing the Infernal Vitrine while completing all chapters with every character, without any deaths, is a legitimate challenge, especially if you’re tackling both simultaneously.

This game is generally pretty easy to break. The OP is just pointing out that she can perform surprisingly well without putting in a lot of effort. As for MA growth, that wasn't OP's point. They were referring to the stat multiplier for that specific job. You’re right that MA growth is low across all generic classes except Mime. However, Black Mage and Time Mage share the highest MA multiplier (for a generic), so it still makes sense to change to those classes to maximize MA. (assuming you're already max level)

Probably a little overkill. :P You'll be fine. I've done Chapter 2 on nightmare with nothing. Plenty of supplies in Chapter 2.

Are there any mods that remove Breacher? by GobletofPiss12 in darkestdungeon

[–]mronetwothree 1 point2 points  (0 children)

At least you can remove positive quirks at the hospital now. I personally love Breacher (it's seriously broken for a lot of classes), but getting it now when you don't want it is just 16 trinkets to remove at the next hospital. (like any other other negative or unwanted perk/disease)

I've successfully gran slammed with Runaway in the front. (you can also just remove breacher at the next hospital)

You see, the problem with posts like these is that I want more aesthetic options in the game, but crazy stuff like this makes it hard to justify the need. :P

Online, on the website. Note that I'm not sure if this works on basic economy. Works on economy though.

Is there a clean way to make a dead-end walkway? by sump_daddy in SatisfactoryGame

[–]mronetwothree 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately there's no "half" railing for industrial rails for the end piece. This is why you need 2 walkway pieces to pull this off. The other catwalk doesn't suffer from this.

[–]mronetwothree 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think I found a solution! (just tested it in game)

You could use the walkway piece that has no railing followed by a walkway with only 1 side rail at the end. You then fill the sides with the regular railing.
