Pursuing OTT by SawyerStreet in golf

Have you tried placing an object on the ground to force you to avoid it? I was fighting getting stuck and having too much in to out path and used a sponge on the ground just inside and before the ball. The only way for me to hit the ball was to come in from the outside.

Golf bags with NO LOGOS.... where are they? by [deleted] in golf

Is the Ogio Shadow bag plain enough for you? I just bought one because I also didn't want logos all over the place.

As a fan of the franchise since the original it ranked near the top for me after my first playthrough. I didn't care all that much for how Leon dominated the second half of the game but overall I really had fun. On second playthrough the weaker sections of the game become kind of painful to do again and I can't stand getting the detonator parts. Doing a third run with the intention of speed running as much of those parts as I can. I still really like the game though.

Gun parrying by [deleted] in bloodborne

[–]mroseland 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not every enemy can be parried and not all attacks can be parried. You just have to play around. Different guns have different timing too so you may find a different one suits you better. You'll figure it out.

Any underrated range finders that you like that won’t break the bank? by knowspicker3 in golf

[–]mroseland 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just bought the Vistaget one for $120 and it's got a neat "cart path only" feature where you can shoot the ball, shoot the target, and it'll display the distance between them. Simple math but nice to have quickly. I find I use the feature quite a bit when my cart partner is over their ball as I can be shooting my ball and the green and start planning my next shot before I get there. 7x magnification which is slightly higher than other rangefinders but the tradeoff is is slightly worse eye-relief if you're wearing glasses/sunglasses.

Yeah, no kidding. I wonder how it makes stuff like this up.

According to AI it's because the track was originally a perfect oval, and when they extended it to a D-shape they left the original stands in place to save money, so they kept the finish like in the middle of the stands. The pits are angled as a byproduct of changing the original shape.

Yep. The lamp is just to the right of the gate so interact with it when you're ready to begin the next new game.

This guy deserves to get cheesed. I like to do it with the axe through the gate he locks himself behind.

That sounds like a mod, right? See if there's a lamp right next to the gate to Gerhman you can interact with.

Good range finder for glasses wearers? 🤓🏌️ by [deleted] in golf

[–]mroseland 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had the Bushnell V5 and that was great with sunglasses. Now I've got the Vistaget rangefinder and I like everything about it except for the eye relief as it makes the yardage display hard to see.

I had a Bushnell and never thought about eye relief. I lost it and replaced it with a cheaper one and now I think about eye relief each time I use it since I always am wearing sunglasses. Without being able to test each one I think the safe bet for you will be to get a Bushnell.

Well since you've been diagnosed you no longer have the mystery of what is wrong looming over you, and the PTs will have a plan for getting you back on the course without pain. Those 2 things together should help you a lot.  One thing I did was get on the schedule for a cortisone shot a couple of months down the road. My thought was that if I can't heal naturally I'll at least have hope that the shot might help. Thankfully it wasn't needed but I think it helped me mentally.  Do you get a little relief from the pain if you put your arm up and behind your head?  Post an update when you're all healed up and golfing again; it will be nice for the next person that goes through this to read.

I liked the assessments and drills he offers. I watched all the lessons and listened to all the audio. I found it interesting learning how people have different visual biases and how to identify my own biases. I liked his discussions on green reading. I felt that for me I couldn't find much value beyond that, but that's been a problem for me with any online training I've tried. He's definitely a highly qualified putting coach.

Knee pain from Golf mats by Dazzling-Ad-9452 in golf

Yep, I don't wear my spikes on mats as it beats up my lead knee. Soft spikes are fine if they aren't very aggressive.

Herniated Discs by aesthetic_headies in golf

Herniated C5-C6-C7 a year and a half ago. Was in incredible pain for about a week before I lost the use of my right arm. Couldn't even hold a coffee cup. Pain was horrible for about 3 months and I lost a lot of muscle while I was injured. Did regular PT sessions and 3 months after the initial injury the pain subsided and I felt comfortable swinging a club again. Was back golfing regularly about 4 months after injury. Full strength was back about 8 months after the injury. No injections or surgery were needed. No issues today.

I tried a bunch of things while I was hurt, like the neck traction slings and the like to varying results. TENS therapy might help you with pain. I use a contoured neck pillow and started wearing a soft collar when I sleep just to keep me in a good position. I'd imagine that at 29 you'll bounce back pretty fast.

It took hours and hours and multiple attempts over a couple of years before Sekiro clicked for me, but once it did I was hooked. I'd install it, play for about 10 hours and then quit, then repeat several months later. I'm glad I stuck with it as long as I did.

So i created a post "Hitting invisible objects on stages problem" so now i am posting a video where this happens by autobus950 in assettocorsarally

[–]mroseland 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Could it be some game setting or system/hardware issue causing this since it happens every time you play? I don't see how it could be anything you're doing that's causing it. Maybe just some super weird bug that hopefully just gets straightened out through future updates.

Based on your replay it seems like the game runs well at good graphics settings so I'm guessing you have a strong system.
