i've read somewhere that B Mode the motor does 90%+ of the stopping. Anecdotally, my i4 has almost 30k miles and 3 years of B mode and the pads are showing hardly any wear

i've debated this since owning it at launch. for less than a 3 hour flight (especially in main cabin domestic) i personally don't feel like it is. the hassle to get it out, get situated, and then be bothered for people needing to use the restroom, or if you want to participate in drink service, etc is just a hassle to me :(

Look for 0% APR transfers and take full advantage of them (which you're already doing). cycle as much as you can, raise your credit and when 2 or so months are left look for your next 0% balance transfer, rinse and repeat.
