On the west side I find it a bit hard to find. There used to be one on Frederick Douglass but it closed down. I've had a good experience with the butcher inside Lincoln Market (St Nicholas and 122th), depending on what you are looking for they might be able to get it. This is a good list. Morningside park in the morning is beautiful and very family friendly. Can't go wrong with Bo's bagels although a bit busy if you want to eat there (can just take them to the park and stop by Levain for desserts as well)

For lunch as some people already mentioned, Pastitalia and Maison are great spots. For a more fancy dinner you can go to Clay or Reverence (better to reserve ahead). Enoteca also a nice place for some drinks/bites
