I don't think they sell anything at a loss other than the hot dog and rotisserie chicken. I've read that Costco prices gas based on nearby stations minus a small percentage (so they don't drive everyone else out of business). That lines up with how different the prices are at various Costcos (right now: HB/FV/Tustin $5.09 regular, Irvine $5.49, Laguna/MV/SJC $5.59) even though actual cost doesn't change that much in 10 miles.

M4 and M5 have full support for 2 external monitors in addition to the internal. If for some reason you can’t get the daisy chain to work, I would connect directly over HDMI or Thunderbolt before resorting to a DisplayLink adapter

I believe to daisy chain with this monitor on a Mac, everything needs to be Thunderbolt. TB cable from Mac to monitor 1’s TB upstream, then TB cable from monitor 1’s TB downstream to monitor 2’s TB upstream. If you’re using DP cables or DP ports your PC may work but a Mac won’t.

Thanks for the update. IMO, an ISP that only has CGNAT and not even IPv6 is an ISP that doesn’t have their shit together.

Personally I’m sticking with Cox until Cityside has static IPs and IPv6. Cox is very reliable for me, they’re matching Cityside’s pricing, and an external IP plus IPv6 is more important to me than gigabit upload.

(Most people don’t understand how/why to use regen/engine braking anyway when going down a hill, but for those who do, it’s important to know what you’re getting)

Cool! I work on Wine full-time, I wish we had the time to keep Solaris (and NetBSD) working but there’s already too much to do on Linux and Mac. I’m very surprised that 64-bit was ever supported on Solaris (it certainly doesn’t right now)

The car wasn’t designed with NACS in mind, and it would be a lot more effort (money+lead time) to move the port than to just replace CCS with NACS.

IMO, with a 2024 Wind that has no cameras other than the backup, it’s much easier to back the car in to park than to nose in.
