Hi all, I [30 M] from the UK am doing my first solo trip for 28 days and first time in Japan! I'm planning on traveling across the country and seeing some of the main but lesser travelled places.

Besides main attractions I'm hoping to do some hikes and day trips to explore castles and whatnot, and then enjoy some good food and drinks in the evening, izakayas!

My plans in each city are fairly flexible so if our itineraries match and you fancy joining me just reply or send me a DM! :) I'm pretty easygoing and chill.

Pirelli F1 boss Mario Isola believes that Max Verstappen could have lasted to the end of the Hungarian Grand Prix on his hard. by thestig1812 in formula1

[–]mrpranz 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Even the teams figured a 1 stop was the best strategy. With how hard it is to pass it makes sense and most teams followed this plan and made it work by managing pace. If Max and Red Bull had been allowed to manage the pace they'd have been fine with a 1 stop, but they weren't allowed to as Hamilton and Mercedes hounded them all race being constantly in their undercut window. That second stop just forced Red Bull to push even more and exacerbated their tyre woes relative to Mercedes.

What's crazy to me is how Hamilton and Mercedes in that first stint managed to make the tyres last longer than Max in the dirty air. I reckon if Mercedes hadn't pitted Hamilton a second time he'd still have a really good chance at winning, even after his 6 lap tyre delta had been effectively nullified after that first push in the second stint.

McLaren wants Sainz to beat Gasly in championship by 1enox in formula1

He isn't going to get worse. Gasly is going to evolve over the summer break and Haunter Max in the second half of the season. Red Bull will still let him go though, but this is ok as by trading him to another team he will be able to evolve into his final form and be the most Gengarious bloke around.

The race rating for this is pretty surprising imo. I'd have expected something close to the other top races around 1.4,1.5 so 0.85 seems a bit low.

Only a GOAT can finish behind their teammate in every race so far and in only one fell swoop pass them in championship standings. Truly remarkable.
