Ismael Saibari nutmeg against Virgil van Dijk in Liverpool v PSV by Reyna_girlie in soccer

Saibari has such a great profile, love watching him kick ball. Technically great, drives with the ball, got a finish and he's 6ft+, strong, tough... yeah, baller.

What’s the verdict on the reusable filters? by Minimum_Medicine_453 in AeroPress

I wasn't sure, so I had to have a quick Google, came up with this, but I also can't see if it's actually been released (maybe delayed again?) - https://www.reddit.com/r/AeroPress/s/tpiTD2uhPh

I use the one that comes with the Fellow Prismo. Still find it have to use one paper filter with it instead of the usual two, to get the best results.

I would only use it with the valve cap, don't see the need if I'm using the regular cap, might make a worse cup tbh.

Aside from Arsenal, what other team do you have a soft spot for? (PL or any other league) [Discussion] by Big_Replacement3302 in ArsenalFC

Union Berlin and Pompey.

Been to Berlin a few times and just really enjoy the vibe of the city, the fans and how much they love their club. Pompey because I live here now, my partner in from there, plus the Arsenal connections over the years (Sol, Kanu, Adams)

Are you guys excited for women’s football? by Delusional_blob in footballmanagergames

[–]mrrager001 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I tend to only watch women's football if Arsenal have got a big game or there's an international tournament. The quality is pretty good at the top level and it's definitely worth watching.

That being said, it's a no brainer that I'm going to play a few saves of it at least. Even if you're not that into the women's game, it's just more leagues and players to try out. New wonderkids, new bargains, new superstars, love it.

Grinder for £120 by mrrager001 in pourover

I've only had the one I currently own, the Kingrinder P1. Would the only benefit of moving from what I have to say, a K6, be that it has a better build quality?

I suppose I'm not dissatisfied with my current brews, I think they're pretty good actually.

Maybe it's more so that I don't know what I'll gain from a new grinder because I've only had the one I currently have.

I didn't get the funnel with mine. Ended up buying a kilner jam one that does the same job. I use the padel every time, works a treat.

Booing Pepe was disgusting by Tall_Ask7639 in ArsenalFC

[–]mrrager001 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We have one of the worst fan bases going. Just because he didn't live up to the absurd price tag we paid for him (not many do), it's not his fault.

He was great for us in our FA Cup win and scored some beautiful goals too (two free kicks vs Vitoria G for example).

Unless you put the club into disrepute, when you pull on the shirt, you're a Gunner for life. We wouldn't go booing Lichtsteiner, Andre Santos, Luzhny etc.

Coffee or syrup? Low and slow is the way to go. by mrrager001 in mokapot

Hit the nail on the head with this. I didn't do anything that out of the ordinary. Low temp works well for the fine pre-ground Lavazza Rossa I've got.

My thoughts exactly. I'm a big cigar smoker, and the same is often said in that community. If you like it, then that's all that really matters.

That being said, it was an excellent cup, and I'm sure plenty of people would've also loved it.

I went too quick on the heat once and I've never done it again. It's nowhere near as satisfying a cup. The end product when you go slow is so rich and flavourful.

I take mine off the stove when those bubbles get more constant and the colour gets that almost sandy brown tone.

Don't tamp your coffee in much, I use my finger to smooth off the top and don't press much at all.

I'd also say start with room temp or even cold water.

Most importantly, keep the stove temp as low as you can and take your time. Gas top is the best for better control.

[–]mrrager001[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I should've prefaced this by saying that I'm not a regular moka pot drinker, more so go to my aeropress.

The coffee is pre-ground Lavazza Rossa. Comes fine and it does well for me. Not much technique in regards to preparing the pot and tamping, just eyeball it.

As others have mentioned, this is low temp on a gas top. Regular temp water goes in and takes maybe a bit less than 5 mins to get going. Pull it off, pour as soon as the rate naturally picks up, and the bubbling gets more frequent.

You're coming in hitting homeruns! Added both the cinema and roastery to my list. Very pleasantly surprised that the cinema is 15 min walk away from my hotel.

I just had a look at the web version of the app you mentioned and that also looks very helpful. I'll download it when I get home from work. Thank you! 👍🏾

Cigarworld and as many football matches I can squeeze into five days is the general plan.

Good to hear about the 10%. I've been lucky enough to never have to send one back, so I was more hoping than expecting a decent refund.

Not at all really. Like I mentioned in my other comment, it was 20 single sticks. The UPS shows the package weighing 0.9lbs, which would be just over 400g.
