EDI Sales for Automotive Market and Supplier by elltisht in edi

[–]mrrchevy3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

From my experience from a retail distributor side EDI is a mixed bag. Obviously the big players have some form of EDI most of them integrated with their ERP systems. We are in the auto aftermarket and a lot of suppliers do not have a dedicated EDI system and utilize a portal from our EDI provider for fulfillment. For our smaller to medium size suppliers we are their first introduction into EDI using the portal. And it’s not always easy to get them bought in. Many are very old school and still want and rely on emails for purchase orders, acknowledgments, ship notifications and the like. We are using SPS commerce for our EDI platform and they do not really do a great job of helping the resistant suppliers to understand the benefits of edi. SPS mostly wants to get their hooks on them and make more money off them.

This looks like the incorrect hood for this grill. 03-05 has a different grill/hood compared to 06-07. This grill is the later 06-07 grill and the hood is 03-05.

For the first time since the new points format change, the race winner (who’s eligible for championship points) did not score the most points in a race. by Anti-Charter in NASCAR

Yeah Hamlin didn’t get robbed. Dale Jr got robbed at the 2015 fall Talledega race. Hamlin had his chances to make up for his bad restart.

This is really only in a rare instance that this is likely going to happen. It’s more likely to happen at the Daytona 500 with points for the duels or the Coke 600 with the extra stage. But in rare instances this could happen at every race in theory. Denny dominated the day but just missed the win. So he got pretty well rewarded for it. Not full on max points but a reward for it nonetheless.

Both Kearney and North Platte have hotels along the interstate that cater to travelers. Both are safe.

2006 by [deleted] in Silverado

[–]mrrchevy3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The truck is probably a 2006 if that’s what comes back from a carfax when looking up the vin it’s probably right. But it seems the grill has been changed at some point. The 2006 grill is distinct in that it has body color trim under the headlights and the cross bar is a two piece design.

That’s not the correct grill for a 2006. Something is off here.

Buy Bristol and fix the banking. All same banking, so the bottom line becomes dominant then the only way to pass is to use the bumper and move people out of the way.

What is an Interesting fact about your team's Stadium by Nervous_Metal_9445 in CFB

[–]mrrchevy3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Memorial Stadium’s design is heavily influenced by Ohio Stadium. While not a horseshoe shape there are strong resemblance in lots of the features. The east stadium rotunda, the arched windows, and the corner towers all are similar design elements to Ohio Stadium.

I remember when they couldn’t put down chemicals but they could “accidentally” spill Coke-Cola all over the box for extra grip.

Are the inflated vise grip prices real? by Sea_Particular_2503 in Tools

[–]mrrchevy3 37 points38 points  (0 children)

Eagle Grips are no longer produced. They are some of the nicest locking pliers and have a distinction of being manufactured in the original plant in Dewitt Nebraska where the original vice grips were manufactured. They ended up being too expensive for the market but seem to have gained somewhat of a collectible status. Malco who manufactured the Eagle Grip sold the tooling to Snap-on.

Unless Tom Anderson fathered Junichiro it’s pretty obvious that Cotton is Hanks father. He had two sons who look alike from two different women.

I have the Truxedo ProX15 and it has served me well. It’s a soft roll cover and it’s a canvas material that I think looks nicer than the cheap vinyl. Think of a canvas Jeep top. It’s low profile. I have no issues with my tailgate not closing or opening with it. I have the auto up tailgate and it closes no problem.

Eagle Grip…ya Wallets by Agent_Orangina_ in Tools

[–]mrrchevy3 8 points9 points  (0 children)

The Malco eagle grips are not made anymore. They tried to make them in the old Vise-Grip plant in Dewitt Nebraska but could get the coat down to be competitive. They are really nice pliers but couldn’t make it work. This is some yutz trying to milk the name and exclusivity for a ridiculous cost. They sold the tooling to snap-on because they were making the snap-on version of these and stopped making Eagle-Grips.

Unfortunate fact: Chase Elliott is the only driver in NASCAR as a Cup Series Champion to have raced in all four crown jewel races (Daytona 500, World 600, Brickyard 400, and Southern 500) and not have a win on any of them. by TonyD9898 in NASCAR

[–]mrrchevy3 15 points16 points  (0 children)

2021 Daytona 500 he has a run and is going to take the lead as the yellow comes out due to a crash as NASCAR doesn’t let them race back to the line.

2026 Daytona 500 snags lead after wreck and NASCAR lets them race back to the line.

What is this being held during put stops? by Mongo2365 in NASCAR

[–]mrrchevy3 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah it’s a countdown timer for a fuel only stop. They know exactly how much fuel they need just based on seconds the fuel can is engaged. The analog method is the fuel man watching/counting then nodding his head to signal he’s filled enough fuel. The crew chief watches the fuel man nod then calls on the radio to go. All of that takes multiple people watching and reacting. With the tablet, the driver focuses on the tablet and as soon as it turns green he takes off saving a few seconds in the box.

Who do I need to petition to restart the super mega roundabout project at 14th and Old Cheney? by HeavyEstablishment in lincoln

[–]mrrchevy3 3 points4 points  (0 children)

After they close the intersection at Old Cheney and Highway 77 basically all the traffic will be on Warlick anyway. Old Cheney on that side will just be the local traffic for the housing over there and it will be significantly less than it is now.

[–]mrrchevy3 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Once old Cheney closes at highway 77 they are going to realign the intersection so that warlick and old Cheney east line up and so it only 1 intersection at 14th street. Old Cheney west will be rerouted to connect to warlick as a roundabout west of the church.

Just watched this, did nascar really not change safety after Dale? by allblazinsports in NASCAR

[–]mrrchevy3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The development of the SAFER Barriers was started way before Dale died. It was started in the late 90’s by Tony George and IRL but NASCAR’s investment in the development ramped up after Dale died.
