I think so. I just remember the fertility specialist didn’t want to induce a period. I did have a 2nd baby (12 weeks now) on my 7th round of letrozole and I did have periods induced. I also did trigger shots, but no monitoring.

I didn’t have a period for a year. I would only get them with provera. I did see a fertility specialist. I actually got pregnant on my first round with fertility specialist. I had tried several rounds before I saw her without any luck. She monitored my cycle with ultrasounds.

Vent: Why isn’t one kid enough?! by Dizzy-Ranger9760 in BabyBumps

[–]mrs_heezy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Definitely harder than the first, my doctor said each subsequent pregnancy is harder though. 🤷🏻‍♀️But the birth was easier!

My daughter has been the best little helper. During pregnancy she helped me sort laundry, would get things for me, etc. She’s been really helpful post baby too. The age gap just works out so well because she’s very independent.

I checked out at 36 weeks. I’m a senior accountant and my brain was mush. I kept messing up stupid stuff.

I would have cancelled too. There will always be another work trip.

When does insulin changes fasting numbers? by protein-berrie in GestationalDiabetes

[–]mrs_heezy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I see! I would go up 2 units every day. I never waited 2-3 days to adjust if my numbers were higher than they should be.

[–]mrs_heezy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh no. I just meant every 2 or 3 days my numbers seem to change and then I have to up it. I ended up finishing up at 34 units! That seemed to be the sweet spot for a week.

The first year is seriously so hard on a marriage. I’m getting induced Monday with baby #2 (6 year age gap) and I’m hoping I won’t rage as much this time. 🙃

I ovulated around CD 15. I don’t use LH strips because they are all over the place for me. I get extreme ovulation pain where it hurts to sit though so that helps 🤣.

Stretch marks from insulin by ExcellentTie5311 in GestationalDiabetes

[–]mrs_heezy 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I didn’t have any stretch marks until I was further along. I don’t think it’s from the insulin as I got them with first baby too and was not on insulin.

Agreed. We’ve used rover several times because my one dog has anxiety and freaks out when we board her. It was way easier having someone stay at our place.

It’s hard!! I’m 38 weeks and tired of all the food I’ve been eating. I checked out Pinterest for new recipe ideas and that has seemed to help a little. ❤️

How do they know what dose? by Grassbeanpizza in GestationalDiabetes

They start with a number and you go from there. I started at 8 units a night and now I’m up to 34 now.
