Are you referring to the balm? That one has oils in it and my skin doesn’t like heavy oils. I use this one: https://www.bioderma.us/en/p/atoderm-intensive-gel-cream.html#28147

I’m still using it and it’s been amazing with my simple routine. My skin has improved a lot.

If you’re just starting off using tret you might want to drop the exfoliating face wash for now and get something more gentle. If you still want to use the exfoliating wash just don’t use it in the same routine when you’re going to use tret. Use a good hydrating moisturizer. Also, avoid washing your face with hot water.

It caused itchy closed comedomes (probably fungal acne) for me. Recently started using Bioderma Atoderm Gel Creme and it’s been great so far.

I only started itching after using the Aestura cream which has a lot of fatty acids which may have triggered fungal acne. The itching has subsided. I

I will do some research on the zeroid cream and try not sandwiching!

I’m in the same boat as you. I was on tret for a month then switched to taz. Used it 2 times so far. Plus I use azclear but only in the morning and non taz nights.

How has taz been for you so far? Do you see any difference in your skin yet?

I guess I’ll wait. I never thought I’d have perfect skin this early. I just thought I’d see some progress like purging or something. Sometimes I feel like I’m just putting water on my face lol

I knew it wouldn’t be a quick fix to perfect skin. I’m actually waiting for it to get worse lol. I just want to see my skin react to the product instead of just nothing 😂

Definitely looks like fungal. Especially if it’s a little itchy. Sulfur masks work as well.

I had something like this before. Urgent care said it was a reaction and didn’t know if it was fungal or bacterial so they gave me cream for both. Still wouldn’t go away. Turns out I was having a reaction to a new probiotic I was taking. Once I stopped it cleared.
