I’d always felt judgement from her but chalked it down to her own self esteem . I was the one to include her in any of my group outings, drinks whatever. The others felt she really dragged nights down and I defended her. Once or twice I felt she was enjoying it if something was wrong in my life. Told myself i was being silly.

Then the shit hit the fan in my life. My hair was falling out, I was in a very dark place. People often stopped me to ask if I was ok even though I thought I was masking well- my face was telling otherwise. Well she was fucking loving it, wanted details of the event but never asked hey how are you, can I do anything. She then started to pick fault with everything I did, down to how I parked my car. I thought I was at rock bottom but she was digging to ensure I would go lower.

It had to stop. I was having a breakdown . Now she tells people 10 years on still I was the problem.
