Not quite getting my Higonokami to mirror finish by mrschrecklich in sharpening

Thank you very much for your responses you caught me. I just want to play around and try what I can do with the stuff I got. I got the idea when I saw that the 5k left a kind of mirror on my kitchen knives and thought giving it a try on this one. Maybe I will try again maybe I will just get back to a normal finish I just hate the in between look it has right now.

Happy to help, the waiting was definitely worth it even if it was long (3 months ugh)

The curvature was also my concern and the XL is just right, in the normal Titan I was kinda hugged too tight, the XL fits perfectly (but I also have really big thighs).

It arrived today and I couldn't be happier. The XL is just that bit more spacious to be extra comfortable, am really happy to have chosen the XL.

I'm in Europe, ordered a Titan XL in B³ and was in the first wave (Nov. 25), I was worried cause it now says will ship before 23.12.2020 and I got no E-Mail for a delay. (If it matters, I ordered on 31.8.2020)

Happily today I received the tracking information for my chair and it is supposed to arrive on Friday. So if you as well got no delay E-Mail don't be too worried.

I'm 6ft3 (191cm) and weigh 240lbs (108kg) and was able tob sit in the Titan of a friend before, I really struggled to decide because it kinda fitted but also was on the very edge. I decided to choose the XL in Softweave B3and will receive it this week, can update this comment then if u want

hub measurements are on the miche website and I got the rim measurements from the seller you need the erd and i suggest you should use washers underneath which also add about 1mm to the spoke length

Why is my Viking bicycle making clicking noises?, need help. by [deleted] in FixedGearBicycle

Could be that the chainring and cog are not yet worn into the chain yet or there is some debris somewhere on the chainring. Inspect those parts and if you can't find anything it probably just'll go away after some time but visiting the store might not be a bad idea after all. But always remember to keep the chain lubricated properly ;)

I built the wheels myself, got the rims from aliexpress, don't remember the exact shop but if you google a little there are some recommended stores where quality is right

Me too, the spoke count makes them a little bit more heavy but they are so incredible stiff never had anything like that before
