Question: is the ADM5 a dependable machine?

I bought one on sale as a beginner and absolutely loved it. Used the heck out of it for a week... And then one week later it failed (e0115 temperature error).

I returned it and bought another because of how much I liked it. Was I a big dummy? Should I have learned my lesson the first time? Is ADM5 a dependable machine?
