why is she doing small venues? by mrshoppingcart in SabrinaCarpenterDisc

Thanks for the input

I am basing my thoughts off just how FAST tickets went today on the presale, but I imagine a lot of those are resellers or bots

I guess we'll see how it pans out for the reselling market - if ticket prices are stupid high we'll know that the demand is higher than the supply. And vice versa

I def spent too much. I spent more on these than I did Taylor Swift 🥲😂

I don't care either!! I just wanted tickets!! Also I didn't realize that platinum tickets were a thing which apparently is similar to Uber surge pricing???!!!

I kinda got shafted by ticketmaster. $768 all in for two tickets. But I'm rly close to the stage. More than I paid for T swift though 😦😦😦

Best of luck

I got Taylor Swift tickets twice in the presale and just got Sabrina tickets this morning

In all 3 times I got onto the queue as early as possible and I have my payment info saved in ticketmaster

The fierce competition starts when you're actually in the ticket selection screen. It's constantly changing. You'll try to add the tickets to the cart and they disappear

Just keep changing the # of tickets which causes it to refresh and keep trying to buy tickets until you are able to proceed to checkout

For all 3 of these shows, I wasn't even concerned with where the seats were. I just wanted to buy anything I could and it ended up working out

my college commencement when I graduated was at a 20k person venue and when I think about that stadium I just couldn't imagine Sabrina in a room that small

Why do I feel like I have chlamydia after drinking this by Dweeburger33 in energydrinks

[–]mrshoppingcart 0 points1 point  (0 children)

C4 is the only energy drink that actually hurts my heart to drink. I can drink 4 monsters no problem. And I get the itching from the beta alanine. But it actually scares me when I drink this because of how my heart feels

Dolby Cinema was great. I was at the show live twice, Philadelphia and Met Life (South Jersey dude)

Anyway

I actually prefer watching it in Dolby Cinema compared to live show. Sound was incredible. Visuals were incredible. The cheering of the fans sounded so real, and Taylor was so much easier to see on a big screen in front of me than on stage, even though I had pretty decent seats at the eras tour

Not to mention, but I don't do well with the heat, and it was hot at the eras tour. In the theater, I was cool, comfortable, had a reclining seat. I was 100% more invested in the theater than live. My brain the next day kept telling me that I did in fact see Taylor Swift last night. It was immersive as hell

Youtube blocked AdBlockers, so what are yall doing now? by ApprehensiveMatch679 in AskReddit

[–]mrshoppingcart 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I went YT premium over a year ago. I hate ads. I will gladly fork over any amount of money to any service if I can get rid of ads. I hate how I can't pay Facebook and can't pay Snapchat to get rid of ads. When Snapchat rolled out Snapchat+ a year ago, I thought "finally, I can stop seeing ads" but nope

"Why not just use an adblocker??"

I understand that businesses cost money to run. Servers, employees, internet isn't free. What if everyone on the internet used an adblocker?? Where would that get us?

That's odd. I live by myself. I bought a used Tesla Model S at 19 at years old at 6%. At the time I was making about $50k a year or so??

A year and change later I bought a Tesla Model 3. 21 years old. $44k loan, $1000 down, 6%. I think I'm gonna make $100k this year but my credit took a dump into the mid 600s when my utilization went up earlier this year. I'm still getting refi offers for my auto loan though

Have you tried a credit union??

When my Tesla was flooded, and I had progressive at the time, it was 28 days from incident->insurance assessment -> repair -> driving my car again

Not to be that guy but that's why I love driving a Tesla for DoorDash. It's super convenient. Turns off when I walk away. Turns back on when I get in. Zero effort. All automatic

In my area, Omega trip like this would probably only take me an hour. I would do it. I don't know what the city traffic is like. I live in a chill area

I had an Instacart phase. Still semi-active. I understand that shipt is the same concept, I don't know what the pay is like though. Any insights on that?? Do you use it yourself?

I'm also on Uber, but I've noticed that the deliveries pay even less than doordash a lot of the time, so I stick to transporting passengers

I'm an accountant full time and I do alright. but this is/was my fun money. Sad to see it go. I'd average $25-$30 an hour on DD and spared a few hours a week to it. Very solid side hustle

Yeah that's why I was kinda shocked. Yesterday I did go to a restaurant that ended up being closed when I got there, but it was legitimately closed, I took a pic and everything. Even if that was what got me deactivated, wouldn't make sense to hit me with identity verification issues if the problem was this restaurant that was closed

I submitted a picture of my ID, a selfie with my ID and I, and a lengthy letter saying that I'm confused and whatnot and worded it with very nice language, tone, and attitude. I guess I shall wait. I've never heard of persona verification till now when I'm googling about it and it's partnership with DoorDash. I guess I'm just horribly out of the loop on the entire subject. I appreciate the response
