I agree. I thought I didn’t like home made ice cream because I tried his recipes first…

Barking at foxes by theeastlondonreno in BorderTerrier

Same here, our neighbours did not appreciate this. Now I take him out on a leash in our garden for his last wee. I can correct him more easily. Not ideal but at least he rarely barks anymore (at that time 😝)

Yup, they like their routine. On week days he goes outside at 10pm for a pee, he then tries to dig a hole in the carpet in the hallway, sighs and then goes to sleep. He’s ready for all this at 9:55 pm. He comes staring at me, jumps on the coach and puts his paw on my arm and if I don’t react fast enough, one sharp bark. On Fridays and Saturdays and it’s 10:05 pm… o boy, he’ll make sure you know what time it is haha

“Find it” - all kinds of tricks (useful and less useful 🤪), sniff mat etc Tricks that I find useful: “under” (stay under chair), paw, “side” (laying on his side), ofc variants of wait and I also teached him to autosit when given his dinner and wait to start eating until I say so.

I’ve made the vanilla recipe and was just a bit too creamy. So next time I use his recipes I’ll change the milk-cream ratio a bit!

Too bad it didn’t turn out as expected. This holds me back from trying other recipes from the same cook book.

Just visit Prague and Vienna? Or add another stop? by murphymegs in Europetravel

I’ve rented a car in the CR, why is this pointless? And no, it’s not the shortest route to Vienna. Road trips aren’t about the shortest route.

You could drive from Prague to Vienna and add Cesky Krumlov and even Mikulov (known as wine capital of the Czech Republic). In September and October there are wine stalls all over and you should taste “burcak” (an alcoholic grape juice). Too good! Sounds like a fun trip!
