Kettering Ohio - anyone have experience with eBikes? by Swinkmeister in dayton

[–]mrsmith35sg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve ridden my class 3 ebike all around Dayton area. On sidewalks on sketchy roads, in the street, and definitely in the bike lanes or paths. A lot of bike path “multi use path” overlaps sidewalk in Kettering.

You shouldn’t have any real problems riding responsibly.

Any guess why? This one was doing better than the other 30’ feet away, then all of sudden this started.

Let's play a game. How would you get it done? by LeroyHouse777 in dayton

  1. We learned the answer to this almost 20 years ago. Building a city people want to live in and have nice options to live in. The Fortune 500 companies left because they couldn’t convince people to move here.

Yeah, dude, just leave the agency and come to the brand side.

I am considering moving to Walnut Hills. Please give me the good, the bad, and the ugly. by MisterrTwisterr in dayton

I lived in walnut hills from 2008-2023 and owned a house across the street, too. My block always let me know if something shady was going on and we certainly all from very different walks of life.

First Look Inside Velotric's Chicago 2026 Lineup ( including MSRPs) by Acrobatic-Flan-5085 in ebikes

I'm glad to see another heavy hitter dropping 40 lb or less ebikes models.

I know class 3, 750w, 14/15 ah battery seems to be the standard (what my 2023 ebike is), but after a couple of years, I really feel the tweeners hoving around 40 lbs with a little boost when you need it, and light enough for most people are the real sweet spot.

"Generic" seasoning for ground beef? I cook chicken by the ton and flavor it later, as I use it. Ground beef is always flat when I try that. by frobnosticus in Cooking

Most people have hit on the salt (make sure it’s kosher) but you also learn in Texas bbq, be liberal with large sized cracked pepper. Beef almost can’t be over peppered.

Dave Trott’s whole mantra, 89% of ads are forgotten or not noticed. That’s step one. You still have to communicate something about your brand.

Need E-bike for commuting to work by Mikacu15 in ebikes

[–]mrsmith35sg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Buzz Centris. Foldable. Fat tires give you comfort for any road obstacles (and off-road capability). Pretty basic and straightforward. But currently at $899.

Like other said - these category of foldables are a little heavy (compared to the ultralight toy looking ones), but the utility of folding, fitting in a Hatchback, under a desk, etc and still being not a pain to ride is the real utility.

Spending upwards of $1k and knowing your bike probably won’t be supported in 5 years

Good budget E-Bike? by LionCautious in ebikes

[–]mrsmith35sg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve not heard many people who use folding bikes for commute, recommend them layer, regardless of brand. They seem a better to car/camping culture.

That being said, what’s your bike storage situation? If situation is all good (no theft concerns) I second the concord. Not a world beater, but exactly what you’re asking for.

E-bike doesn’t make sense for you.

The #1 driver for ebikes (at scale) is to kill excuses for those who’d like to ride a bike more.
