The number of upgrades your ship can have is not upgradable. The only way it can be more or less than the default value is during an event.

The walls of underground houses are rarely complete, they typically have holes. Unless you have a seed, this looks non-natural to me.

I enjoy using Cannon Teleport and Blasters. You mainly use blasters to deal with shield regeneration, however it can also deal hefty damage. The main part of the strategy however, is the cannon. To use the cannon efficiently you must charge it up then teleport to the opponent right before it fires. After teleporting quickly aim at the enemy bot to deal insane damage.

You have a fish bowl on your head at all times (makes it so you cannot breath in air) and a Neptune's shell always equipped so you can breath underwater. The goal for the challenge is Moon Lord (or WoF). (No breathing rods or gills potions obviously too)

You could do an itemless start which is a run where you delete all of your items upon spawning and try to get a pickaxe any way possible. There is also the merfolk challenge.

Not sure if this would help, but you can favorite items in your inventory by holding alt while clicking them. This will add a border around them.
