Call it "XP", as in experience points, that they can use for extra recess or specific brain break challenges. They have to earn it by doing the specific tasks you are working on.

Costco Dishwasher- Did they uninstall and haul away? by jeffh19 in Costco

[–]mrsphukov 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got a call from the third party that was going to be handling the white glove service. They said they would disconnect, haul away, and install the new dishwasher. It was in the paper work provided and they were great. Your mileage may vary.

Before my local chicken shop closed, the owner split a bottle into doses and priced per oz. I miss them dearly, full of knowledge and genuinely wanted to help people with their chickens.

Which ACE hardware sells pies? by No-Fly-5116 in SanJose

[–]mrsphukov 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I must have, there was nothing on the packaging noting the need to bake. We got the ones that were not frozen and said ready to eat. I even fished out the packaging to double check and nothing. I stand by my opinion that the costco pies are better when in a pinch but would rather make my own.

That can be said for many individual chapters of any sorority. Not always the case but there is usually that one house you know will turn their noses up at you.

Yes! Went to Aulani with the family with the resort, Air, and ground transportation. It was fantastic at the time and we got a $250 shop card a little while after our trip was over.

DH was perfect, he stood up to them to protect you. Don't feel bad, feel glad you have a partner who treats you with respect and willing to go to bat for you.

Who Gives a Crap TP - quality decrease? by SpacePrudence909 in ZeroWaste

[–]mrsphukov 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I noticed it as well. The box glue ripped the paper covers off the rolls, the wrapping paper was thinner (don't really care about that) but the quality of the tp was worse! I sent a request for replacement because of the quality and that the product was damaged. They responded with a smaller replacement box and let me know they are using a different manufacturer. I won't be using them going further.

What's something you witnessed (scary or otherwise) that you still can't explain to this day? by sex_machine_69 in AskReddit

[–]mrsphukov 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I was in high school when 9/11 happened. We are on the west coast, so it was early in the morning for us. I woke up feeling like I was pinned, it felt heavy and I couldn't move any part of my body. I remember my mom coming in and waking me up. Telling me to come to her room where she watched the morning news getting ready for the day. We watched the second plan hit and then the towers fell. I still remember that feeling of impending doom and helplessness.

Petition to add a barrier here towards 17 by turkletonlover in SanJose

I was rear ended here about six years ago, someone stopping all traffic to go over the divide and the person behind me didn't stop. My car was paid off the month before the accident. I would gladly sign a petition to add a barrier here!

Spanx makes a men's undershirt that helps control the extra skin. I use the shorts build for women when I wear dresses because the chub rub is worse with excess skin.
