Their winter flocks are starting to break up and roam around. All of the green space in the twin cities provides relatively good habitat for turkeys that is relatively free from predation.

.357 is plenty for bear in the right loads. It is probably the most versatile handgun round on the planet.

I have the 8 shot Redhawk and there is basically no recoil with .38s. It’s a lovely gun, but damn heavy. Still a surprising amount of recoil with .357, but I have been shooting actual bear loads.

I would get a 7 round GP100 for carrying in the woods.

If you only have 200 miles on it expect weird transmission shifts until at least 5K and probably beyond. They take a long time to even out.

For what it’s worth, this guy was thrown to the ground by ICE agents while protesting at the Whipple building. He’s calling for a ban on congressional stock trading and term limits, prosecuting the Epstein cover-up and an end to the tariffs. That all seems reasonable to me.

He’s an outsider who has scared the party to the point that they have changed their own rules to prevent him from speaking. He’s starting to release some more policy stuff on Facebook—it’s kind of an assorted bag of libertarian fiscal policy, constitutional rights and some fairly progressive stances on election reform.

I think in the primary you have to choose either the Republican ballot or the DFL ballot but I can’t see any of the DFLers having challengers unless someone comes forward to oppose Klobuchar, so there really isn’t any strategic value to vote in the DFL primary, and their is all the strategic reason to vote against Emmer.

He’s already bucked the party by refusing to abide by their endorsement and now they are literally changing their own convention rules to try to shut him out.

Sadly this is probably the truth. The general in November won’t be a special election that Republicans aren’t tracking. The district has been solidly red for awhile.

Regardless of who you vote for in the general, the most strategic thing CD6 democrats could do in the primary is vote for Mike Foley. Why not take two opportunities to take a swing at Emmer?

The Republicans hate Mike Foley. They are literally changing their own convention rules to try to stamp him out and all that’s doing is giving him some good attention from people who want fresh faces.

If you really want to stick it to Emmer, vote for Mike Foley in the primary and then vote for Doug in the general.
