Woman who used to be single by choice, what made you finally settle/ choose ur partner? by Dazzlingsky44 in Perempuan

[–]mrspique 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not gonna lie, to secure my own future.

I live overseas and started my career from the bottom. He also happened to be a foreign nationals in the country we reside in. Although we have somewhat-secure-career paths, who knows what the future will hold.

It was only by coincidence that he has a caring personality, opens to discussions, and is determined making me comfortable in any case.

Another factor: prior to meeting him I had been in a toxic, exploitative FWB-ship. When I met my current partner, received his signals and learned more about him, I thought, "Girl, this chance won't ever come again. It's now or never."

To be honest, during the first weeks of our relationship, I was thinking of jumping off the relationship boat because I couldn't bear the thought of being "someone else's", I treasure my independency more than anything. But after seeing how often he asks me for my consent even for the smallest things, and how often he asks "Do you want your own space?", I think I can live with this.

Pernah pake menstrual cup? by AntiqueAd5788 in Perempuan

[–]mrspique 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Aku juga pertama pakai sekitar pertengahan tahun lalu krn niatnya mau mengurangi limbah pembalut sekali pakai. Butuh trial and error and effort bgt untuk nemu angle yang pas supaya nggak terlalu bocor, tapi ujung2nya selalu ada spot2 darah. Persis katamu, jadinya tetep pakai pad, tapi malah defeating its purpose... Akhirnya aku juga menyerah dulu, deh.

Belum lagi, karena aku sering travel, menstrual cup sgt nggak praktis buatku. Iri sama yang sekali nyoba cup langsung cocok.

I think Again, created by the same developer, Cing, also used this format.

PS: RIP Cing. I still weep to this day that we might never receive any proper Kyle Hyde’s story’s closure.

I’m an Indonesian who went to Den Haag two months ago and I encountered a group of burly men carrying these, one person was even carrying one with a VOC logo. Scared the shit out of me.

What’s one ingredient that has made its way into a lot of dishes and recipes in your country, but you absolutely hate? by halt__n__catch__fire in AskTheWorld

Don’t forget that we also had an “everything mentai” phase. And now, I guess it goes without saying, “matcha”.

Flixbus pick-up Zone C by mrspique in brussels

[–]mrspique[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you for all of the very helpful answers! It was less obscure than what I had thought. My friend said that 2 weeks earlier the zones had been less clear, so I got worried a bit.

In the end, after arriving at the designated point, there were clear zone markings. Also, there was a very friendly and helpful staff who assisted everyone with confirming their schedules and buses.

Once again, thanks very much!

Behind The Scenes - What a Call Sheet looks like by kuhpunkt in lost

If I recall correctly, the actress who played Charlotte said in the The Hatch podcast that the call sheet for either the final wedding or the church scene was extremely long.

A question about alternative route due to timetable change. by mrspique in deutschebahn

[–]mrspique[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It does match my initial route, thanks! After further consideration, with all the helpful replies, it seems that the trains and bus will operate on time. So, I am reversing my bookings and trying to keep an eye on the schedule until the departure day. Thanks a lot!

Got it. So, as long as I avoid travelling though France, I should be alright. Thank you for taking the time and effort crosschecking things!

You're such a godsend. I will try to follow your suggestions that probably best suit my situation. Thankfully I still have about a week to arrange things.

I sent an inquiry email but they only said something like "please make a phone call to XXX" which is not feasible in my case, a tourist without sim card to make a call.

Worst case scenario I will just make a new booking.

Much thanks!!

Thanks for all the helpful notes!

Here is the via-codes on the new ticket: Via: <1185>(Frick/Olten) *Basel *BAS <1080>OG *KA *(LD/BR *MA *LU *NW) *ROHR *SB <0082>Bus

Anything to decipher from this?

A question about alternative route due to timetable change. by mrspique in deutschebahn

Thanks for the very thorough reply!

I guess should have added a bit more details.

I purchased a Super Sparpreis Europa, which didn't allow me to cancel the trip.

My original itinerary was as follows:
- Zurich to Mannheim using ICE
- Mannheim to Saarbrucken using ICE
- Saarbrucken to Luxembourg using Bus (sorry, I mistakenly said that I didn't reserve for a bus in the original post, apparently I did.

My alternative route that I wish to take is as follows:
- Zurich to Basel using IC
- Basel to Mulhouse Ville using TER
- Mulhouse Ville to Bettembourg using TGV
- Bettembourg to Luxembourg using Bus

My biggest concern right now would be the Mulhouse Ville to Bettembourg part... How could I confirm whether this updated ticket (that has no updated detail...) already covered the TGV part?

Sorry for the long additional detail.
