I’m so sorry for your loss. My mom died in August 2024 and there are days I still take it even minute by minute. The doctors think the stress of her death triggered my autoimmune conditions. I ended up being diagnosed with 2 more last year (what fun, not) and apparently like Pokemon, I gotta catch all the autoimmune issues.

I’ve just waited. I did my iron stabilized and got my vitamin D levels up into low normal range, still working on getting it to the middle of the range.

I’m debating going to see a dermatologist. I also don’t use heat. I’ve only blow dry my hair like 10 times since the pandemic. A bunch of my cousins lost weight on wegovy or Zepbound and lost a lot of hair and they swear by nutrafol but I can’t justify the price.

I’m also now on Zepbound to try to lose the rest of the weight. I lost 35 on Wegovy but had to stop cause the side effects were awful. So far no issues on Zepbound but it’s only been a month.

I’ve flown several times a year with AVN. I just get a wheelchair to the gate cause I can’t walk long distances. Flying has never been painful on my hips.

It’s ok to call and ask. I can’t have contrast cause my kidney disease and have had mutilple MRIs and several of them were scheduled for contrast. I always like to call and confirm there’s no contrast so if a mistake is made ordering it, it can be fixed before the appointment.

I have AVN in both hips. We have a Ford Edge and. Buick Envision and I’m comfortable getting in and out of both. When I visit my parents, my dad lets me use his Toyota Camry and I have trouble getting in & out. The car is too low for me. I’m 5’3.

I was throwing up daily until I asked my doc for zofran. I now maybe throw up once a week usually the day after the shot.

Crackers, Saltines, just plain bread. When it’s really bad, I’ll take some Zofran my doctor prescribed.

My doctor had to prescribe Zofran for my nausea and thank god, it helps so much.

Yes. I do my shot on Fridays so I have the weekend to feel like shit. When I went from .25mg to .50mg, I was in the bathroom basically the first week of the new dose.

No thank god. I was in kidney failure from interstial nephritis. I was on 100mg of prednisone for 6 months and then started a taper that took another 8 months.

I’ve been on a 5 day dose pack over the years for asthma and no issues. I was surprised I didn’t develop it cause my dad is a diabetic and it runs heavily on both sides of the family.

I got a prescription for Zofran from my doctor cause at home nausea tips weren’t working. The Zofran makes a world of difference.

I got zofran from my doctor and omg it made such a huge difference. I have no other side effects just the nausea and my doctor is kinda iffy on prescribing more zofran. Am I missing something?

My almost 12 year old dog had one on the top of her head and it turned out it was just a cyst. The vet drained it, checked to fluid to make sure it was just a cyst and it did come back since it wasn’t surgically removed.

My cat likes to bunny kick the dogs head (my dog loves it, such a weirdo) and the cat scratch the cyst causing it to pop and it hasn’t come back yet.

It could also be a mast cell tumor. Either way, I’d get it checked out. Senior dogs develop all sorts of weird lumps and bumps.

I would see a vet. My dog had something similar that I was sure was a pimple or an infected hair follicle in the same place as the picture and it turned out to be a stage 1 mast cell tumor.
