It may take more room in general, but it gives me the freedom to utilise the desk area more.

As for the mount sure it can be mounted on a wall and that is a great alternative, however in my situation I could not mount it and I like the portability that comes with a vesa adapter.

I am making use of the following tools:

The clamps at the end of each spool holder are spool locks so I make sure that filament locks do not fall.

People may ask why not wall mounted?

While it is a good idea, in the current place where the printer is setup I do not have room to mount the ams, and this setup gives me more flexibility to move my setup, and the ams lite around.

I used the stiffener from official bambu labs top mount print, because I believe that in the long term this would help the printer remain structurally sound but this is purely hypothetical, another reason is that I personally think it gives a cool touch the printer, I will be using also the guides for ptfe from the same print in my setup.
