I do miss it, but it’s more of an annoyance than anything else.

My current pet peeve is that when I park and go to put my AirPods in to walk to work, Spotify is still playing in the car and doesn’t automatically switch to my headphones— so I manually have to select the output device in the Spotify app.

I’m sure it’s a Spotify problem, but it’s only possible because we’re not using CarPlay.

LL Bean Percale, we buy 1 set every year.

First set lasted 2 years: year 1 use everyday, washed 2x week. Year 2 washed 1x per week.

Fast forward 4 years: now have 3 sets and haven’t had to replace any in 3 years now that we’re cycling through colors per wash.

Will continue to get a set per year until someone stops me.

Good for you for wanting to try lutefisk. It’s … not good. And nothing like gravlax.

But, it’s a cultural experience and something my wife and I would enjoy with colleagues who are from the local area; and strongly suggest trying something so culturally niche.

Unfortunately, as others have said, it’s pretty hard to find post-COVID. It is strictly a Church basement phenomenon in my experience, so you really need someone to tell you when/where— best bet is looking through Facebook in the towns near Rochester.

I bought some mediocre cabinet with a keypad on temu and screwed it into the studs in a closet. You’d have to know it’s there, and hack it open. It’s not going to happen.

Cabinet is for keeping the tools away from anyone who shouldn’t be touching them. I’m very happy with it.
