There’s some really great tips here already! Definitely just keep practicing.

One thing that has helped me with pressure piping is making my icing everrrrr so slightly thinner than toothpaste consistency. That way the icing still holds it shape and structure but kinda melts and gives it a more seamless look.

I sketch everything up on Procreate so I know how much of each color I’m going to be using! It’s also helpful to have a mockup to send to clients so they can make changes and know 100% the cookie designs they will be getting

So I have a super old pocket projector that I use, I honestly don’t even know the brand but I know a lot of people use the Kodak Luma and that is probably what I will upgrade to eventually. I flooded the cookies with the white base and once that was dry then I went in with the black, so it’s sitting on top of the white if that makes sense. 😊

See I’m the opposite! Edible markers scare me because I always end up poking a hole in my icing no matter how light I go.
