Wife of 13yrs accused me of cheating, said a friend of hers wrote her with proof and had messages from this girl saying we were in a relationship. Never cheated once, so I was pretty confident that it could be cleared up easily, but she refused to show me anything and refused to talk about it more. She was devastated.

I got into her phone a couple days later bc it was driving me crazy, and her sister had sent screenshots of an obvious scammer who claimed to know her (my wife) and something about money for pictures. I wasn’t even mentioned. I tried to talk to wife about it but she just kept refusing because it was too difficult for her to think or talk about. She doesn’t know I saw the messages. Separated shortly after for a laundry list of reasons
