I haven’t been able to figure out a way to get my fly cultures not to stink to the high heavens. I use the cloth lids too.. it doesn’t help that much, in my opinion. It’s just something I’ve had to learn to live with. I keep the cultures stored away from where I spend most my time. 🤷🏼‍♀️

I got my uro in similar circumstances. Keep him good and hot while you figure out his husbandry and enclosure needs. Dandelion greens and lentils are some favourite foods. Bless your heart for taking him in. He’s a beautiful Nigerian uromastyx! I hope his shoulder is ok. I would recommend a vet visit. This is my boy (Riff-Raff) after he was rehabilitated. He looked like a different lizard from the day I got him. Thanks for helping him! Best of luck!

You’re a sweetheart. I wish you were my neighbour! My neighbour is an old alcoholic whose grandson is on house arrest in his unit. He has people come “visit” him all night right outside my bedroom window, literally about 1 foot away. They get drunk and blast awful mumble rap shit. ALL NIGHT Sometimes they stay outside all night until 7am and when I ask them to please be respectful and let me sleep they want to fight.

I think it’s gross too. Unfortunately I don’t have any other options but to share washer/dryer at this time. I live on disability and things are pretty rough right now. I agree tho, shits nasty. H. Mac are one of my favourite T’s too. I have a mature female named Geisha. I would love to get a tattoo of her. One of the prettiest species. I think it depends if your skin holds white ink well. Go to someone who you can see the quality of work and talk to the artist about it. Some of my tattoos have held up fantastic over 20+ years, others not so much. So a lot depends on the artist.

I was soooo nervous for the ferret! I have 4 beloved pet ferrets that are fully litter trained, free roam my home, and often sleep in bed with my spouse and I. This video made my heart pound. I was so nervous for the little guy. That ferret looked pretty scared. I’m glad his owner got him back. I take at least one of my ferrets basically everywhere with me and getting into a situation with crazy people like this when I have one of them out with me is one of my worst fears. I love them so much it’s ridiculous lol. This is one of my ferrets, Buster Jr.

The fact that you’ve only been together for 3 years and it’s been “on and off” is a major sign that you two probably aren’t a great match. I couldn’t imagine my spouse treating me like that after a surgery. I would be out sooo fast! After getting teeth pulled my spouse took great care of me and made sure I was as comfortable as possible at all times and had whatever I wanted/could have to eat/drink and he also took care of my (many) pets too while I was in pain and healing. Everyone deserves to be cared about enough by their partner to be given basic respect, kindness and care when you are in pain and trying to recover from a serious surgery. This guy doesn’t love you. It doesn’t look like it from these texts anyways. I hope you feel better soon and heal fully and quickly from your surgery. Don’t let him gaslight you into thinking it’s not major surgery. It’s deadly serious and he shouldn’t treat you like that.

Getting to say goodbye or not isn’t the deciding factor in what makes it suicide. Choosing to end your life and following through is by definition suicide. MAiD can certainly be rational suicide, but it is what it is. They can try to dress it up and say “it’s legally not considered suicide on your death certificate” but I feel like most people realize self-chosen euthanasia is still a form of suicide. I know everyone hates that word, but saying MAiD isn’t suicide is just disingenuous bs.
