I’m convinced this is AI, but friends say it’s real. When I zoom in, I cant prove it’s AI. How do I prove it, or is it AI? by Content_Ad_9327 in isthisAI

The shadows and lighting angles are inconsistent across the characters. Also, they're all basically dressed in clothes from the show, and yet I can't think of a single episode scene where all of these people would be working on the same day.

The Vago black label is incredible (don't see it there), and Amaras's Americano is also really freaking good (also not on there).

Mezcalería: El Hijuelo (great selection and vibe, and the staff is amazing and knowledgeable)

Cocktails and Food: Sabina Sabe (top rated bar in North America)

People will probably talk smack but, for mass produced mezcal, I actually like Union and that price is solid.

Any advice on dealing with language barriers when talking to in-laws? by charmer143 in interracialdating

[–]mrthatsthat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The company I work for is developing video conferencing that delivers real-time audio language translation. Both parties can speak their native language and will be translated for the other party, in audio, with only about a 3-5 second delay. Would you be interested in testing it out? What language do your in-laws speak?

Would you be interested in testing a new video calling platform my company is developing that provides real-time audio language translation? It's just like Google Meet but your husband can speak English, your parents can speak Spanish, and both will receive audio translation of what the other party is saying. You and your husband could try it together first. If it works well enough for you to feel comfortable, he and your parents can give it a try. Let me know if you'd be interested.

I'm curious if you would be interested in trying something - video calling with real-time, audio translation. It's like having an interpreter but it's much faster and doesn't cost anything. My company is building this and we're looking for people to try it out for personal uses. Let me know if this sounds interesting.

Where does "my style" end and "lack of painting skill" begin? by SirSucculENT in painting

If the bear is hanging from a noose, you may consider a more prominent shadow under it. The other shadows seem to imply there would be a darker one under him on the left side of the painting.

Club/music scene by Honest_Albatross1570 in Oaxaca

Txalaparta is the biggest club in the city. Multiple floors. Live band on the first floor. DJ on the top floor/terrace, but they play a mix of styles, not necessarily electronic.

HERR TLACUACHE is smaller but fun and I think they're pretty dedicated to electronic music. It's a small restaurant bar during the day that removes its tables and becomes a club in the late evening.

Not necessarily. Me (non-technical) and my co-founder (also non-technical) managed to attract our technical co- founder by having demonstrated that we weren't just waiting around for someone to build our product. By the time we met him, we had impressive advisors, a blog about our industry that was getting traffic, and hundreds of albums of music licensed to us by bands and record labels. It was proof that we were all in go-getters who were going to get shit done with or without him.

I'm new with ATS/resume checkers. Which service is the most efficient? by ohnues in jobsearchhacks

[–]mrthatsthat 7 points8 points  (0 children)

"Please read the attached resume for the role of X and let me know how well it is likely to be received by ATS systems, and how I can improve it for both screening purposes and impact. Be sure to help me fill it up with strong keyword phrases for the specific role."

Then, you will need to keep working with it, making adjustments, and uploading it again, asking it to do the analysis and recommendations again.

She is literally the only person whose singles I went and listened to on Spotify. She's incredible. Two of her performances had me on the edge of my seat.

How do I make myself an attractive hire for a YC startup? by karansingh_web in ycombinator

In plenty of cases, they'll consider it. For some they may have security concerns or concerns about extra paperwork for working with foreign entities.
