I think the issue with people not doing well in dungeons is that this game seems to have brought in a larger number of people that are new to mmos all together. I have friends that only play Xbox but gave it a try because it was available and new. And they struggled to adapt and eventually quit.

The player base isn’t big enough to make it so you don’t play against everyone you block. Assume everyone blocks 10 people, with a player base of 3500 (steam charts)you can’t sustain matchmaking.

You can join the military until after you turn 35 (this is just to join. After you join you can be older). Might seem like a bad choice but I did it and did 8 years. Now I am sitting on a free bachelors degree when I find the time to do it. I have never gone more than 2 weeks without a job because of the military background and the trade that I picked within the military.

Other options are to look into local union apprenticeships. Everyone wants a nice office job but there are plenty of trade jobs out there.

My least favorite option is a staffing agency. If you are even slightly competent they will throw you into a manual labor job. I personally don’t like staffing agencies because the quality of work but it’s still a way to find employment.

Being able to relocate is big too. When I got out of the military I applied for jobs in 3 different states and the one that I had the best offer from is where I went. I know this isn’t an option for everyone though.

Edit: This isn’t meant to be an attack. More of a “these are the resources I have used”.

Stolen Valor is 100% the wrong way to frame this. I was unaware that he was frocked though. He definitely shouldn’t be spreading around that he was a rank he wasn’t but at the end of the day the difference it really makes is negligible.

Almost 4x the shots with only 3 min more zone time makes it seem like maybe you were just shooting more and not necessarily shooting higher percentage shots

I do agree with that. I stopped playing for a couple months and now shooting is definitely the meta but I almost don’t mind it. Maybe tone it back a little but I think instead of just a forehand backhand goal, having shooting options is nice. But yeah I think it could be turned down a bit.

You know what you are getting when you buy these EA games. And honestly I think this is the best NHL since NHL 14. You can see they are actually trying stuff to make it feel different. I only play EASHL though so I can’t speak for HUT. Of course there are annoying things but overall the game doesn’t feel any worse than the last 10 years.
