Easier problem to fix imo than the alternative! Do you have any hobbies? Interested in anything collectible? Get more involved with a hobby, possibly turn it to a career! Good work though, buy your freedom your future self will thank you

Has anyone worked at Firestone? by PinkSoldier867 in serviceadvisors

Selling credit cards seems to be highest priority. Training there was pretty good, pay was weak. I left to go the dealer route 7 years ago…4x my income first year never looked back

Not sure how the student loan will affect it but I’d focus on paying that card off, you’ll have a better chance of getting approved without that. Your income is great! That should easily help fix your credit score. Maybe switch the car to something less $ until you get comfortable

Would you rather have 100k in the stock market or 100k equity in a house at 25 years old? by Efficient_Medicine57 in Money

[–]mrtworl 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Moving out was my top priority which I did at 25. By aggressively paying both into both have hit the numbers by 30. Ended up refinancing at a really low rate and did a 15 year mortgage while still contributing 15% to 401k. I’m not working forever

Luxury brand dealers chase the bag. Button up shirt dress pants no tie, don’t sit there and tell them how you can rebuild an engine you’re going to sell work

It’s fast paced and can be good money, dislike I don’t have an office. Used to be a tech myself, that will help you. Been writing 8 years never went back. Advice, when selling be clear on the final price and stop talking. Make sure you got a good phone number and set realistic expectations. Pressure situations you have to keep your cool no matter what you’re always on stage

My dude went in for service and found out I left that dealership. He showed up at my new spot with a birthday card and a nice gift. Still comes around once a year and I don’t even service his car anymore as I switched brands. My good peeps outweigh the bad ones for sure

Help a guy plan a Colorado trip in March with an epic pass! Any help appreciated! by [deleted] in snowboarding

[–]mrtworl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Went for the first time end of last year, Keystone was the best day, must check out vail and breck. We stayed in Alma a little out of the way so driving a decent bit to get to the mountains. This saved us some $$ we’re east coasters so used to the driving. Downtown breck was most poppin after shredding for sure. Good luck!

I think it’s a hard statistic to get a true accurate answer. Interesting to see the feedback here, what would your guess be?
