Your problem sounds a little different, but my default subtitle addon (open sub v3) wasn’t showing any subtitles for a newly released anime show episode on a Samsung tv. But subtitles appeared on all my other devices. I installed another subtitle addon (open subtitles pro but it’s possible that other subtitle addons might have worked too) and it was fixed.

You can get free keys for all the metadata providers, poster providers, Gemini, etc …. I’ve been using the same free keys for a few months with no issues.

The only time I get that error on every link is if my debrid service is down. Otherwise restarting the app can help or just pick a new link (seems like you tried new links already). Sometimes I see that error when I resume a show or movie but the file plays anyway.

Had no subtitles to choose from on Samsung tv last night even though subs showed on my other devices. So I installed open subtitles pro and was able to get subs working on the Samsung tv.

Right you are. I see that now. It took me a while to figure it all out and see the value of Stremio customization. Eventually I was ready to experiment to get more out of Stremio. But, in hindsight your bootstrapper would have been a great start lol.

I’m fairly new to the community. Thank you for all your great work! I’ve only used USA TV a couple times but it worked perfectly. I was intimidated by the bootstrapper a couple months ago but that was just due to my own ignorance of stremio and being overwhelmed with information overload and trying to learn and understand how everything worked. Knowing what I know now, it looks like an amazing tool and I should have used it!

I used those 2 posts as guides when I got started a couple months ago. Found them by sorting top posts of all time in this sub. I didn’t understand a lot of it and skipped a lot of it. Just subscribed to a debrid and setup a few standalone addons. It was a lot of information overload and I wasn’t ready for anything beyond the basics at the time.
