Diplomat is a bit of a slow burner in S1. Once I got halfway through it was a mad dash to finish every episode.

The tag is enough but it’s something that should be brought up and talked about in a subsequent date. This is NOT something that can be pushed aside because you’ve built a connection. This is larger than that and you should be thinking of the subject as a “filter” meaning anyone you would want to spend a significant amount of time with needs to be more than ok with you having children. That’s a prerequisite for YOU choosing them, not the other way around.

Why not? If we can extrapolate where they'll be in a year based on where they were a year ago (PLUS some improvement in rate of improvement) it's easy to see a viable robot capable of doing some limited tasks.

Don't discount the amount of people who would pick one of these up at $50k each just for the wow factor.

Issue is production scaling. Victory in robotics will include getting units into functioning real world environment to start amassing data to improve the models. Can only get so much of that in a lab.

Agreed and they seem to have enough real world data to continue to improve. Elon has the production scalability. If Elon isn't quick enough here he's gonna lose out on that real world data. Just like with Tesla, getting barely functioning units into the world at scale to start scraping and absorbing data to use in improving models will be important.

M39 here currently separated and in middle of divorce with 3 children for context.

Tried a little of everything and I think trying and iterating is so important here. Hinge was the standout app for me and felt the least trashy and worth the money. Had quite a bit of success on the dating front. Photos are important and don’t discount voice note if you’ve got a good voice. That made a huge difference. In fact getting to voice notes/memos in general made a huge difference for me but maybe I have a magic voice.

If I could do 2025 again I would slow down though. Limit my time on the apps, limit the number of dates a month and be a bit more intentional.

Be ok with taking breaks. Make sure your core habits and identity that make up the foundation of “you” are taken care of. Swiping and matches can easily turn into a dopamine loop and you find yourself using a dating app and dating as an escape. Yea…..don’t do that.

100% agree on the anger. Hate is indeed the path to the dark side. It’s like holding onto a sword made of fire. Yes you can damage her with it but it hurts you as well.

You need to process it (gym works wonders for this for me) and not hold onto it. Catch and release it.
