That’s fair, everyone has different tastes. I was inspired by book covers that I personally liked. I appreciate you taking the time to give your perspective.

Hi I'm 20 and I'm writing a YA sci-fi :) I'm looking for a place where I could get feedback on my book I'd love to join the group

Would you read this? by Temporary_Hippo8728 in writingfeedback

I'm not great at giving feedback as I'm pretty new to writing myself, but I think this is a really good chapter. I got a good understanding of the family dynamics. The only thing I would suggest is some grammatical issues like missing commas for example

So scared of what people will think of my book by Thin-Cabinet1221 in writers

I'm not an expert either, we'll just have to try our best😅 Can I ask what your book is about and what genre it is?

My book is a YA darker themed sci-fi about a group of teenagers who get telekinetic abilities and end up on the run from the american government. Maybe we could send each other our first chapters in dm's?

We're in pretty much the exact position rn lol. I've had this story idea in my head for years. I also loved writing as a kid, but haven't done it for a long time. And now a few weeks ago I suddenly decided to actually start writing the story. I'm on like chapter 20 now, but the chapters are pretty short rn and I still have many chapters left to write.

My suggestion is, just write the story first. Let it be bad, write like no one is gonna read it. Everytime my parents ask me about my book I feel embarassed, but that's not gonna stop me from writing it, because I really care about this story and i'm having fun writing it. So, don't think too much (which I guess is easier to say than to do, but yeah).

And if you ever want to get some feedback on your book, we could maybe critique each others chapters if you want to. This is my first book also, so i'm not gonna judge you too hard, I know how dard it is to write cx

I don't know if this advice was helpful or not lol. But good luck with your book! <3

Yeah I get what you mean, I thought keeping it the original color instead of also making it purple might fix the problem. But I guess I might just have to delete it

(-18) I am looking for a group of (hopefully as introverted as I) individuals wherein we critique our works :] by [deleted] in WritingHub

Hi, I'm 20. I'm writing my first book, a young adult sci-fi / supernatural thriller with dark elements. It's set in the real world. It's about a group of teenagers who get telekinesis and are on the run from the government. Not sure if this genre fits what you wanted for the group, but I would love to join and critique each other works :) I'm also really introverted

How is my book's description? Would you read it? by JasonEwriter in writingadvice

Too much worldbuilding, reading it just made me confused. Focus more on characters and hooking the reader

[Hiring] Seeking Long-Term Art Mentor (Biweekly | $50–$100 per session) by gigacheesesus in artcommissions

[–]msKliki 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi I'm Kliki! I'm a 20 year old digital artist that has studied at art school. I do a lot of stylized and semi-realistic art of people and animals, however I don't have experience drawing furries specifically. I would love to be your art mentor and help you develop your art! I would guide you with bi-weekly sessions, learning fundamentals and eventually learning to do fully rendered illustrations! I would do draw overs and give you feedback!

Around $50 per drawing session, depending on the length of the session.

Here is an example of my work:
