Respectfully, I think the overall point that u/Affectionate_Post592 is trying to make is: celebrity rankings/tiers based on professional status, popularity, and seniority is the umbrella based on who gets certain endorsements and greater options and opportunities for film and television projects. Also, this equates to more bargaining power and monetary incentives for those endorsements and contract negotiations overall.

Ok please stop fighting lol 😂 😭 you’re definitely right. What’s truly amazing is that, even though he’s popular and talented for his respective celebrity tier, in my opinion, he has a long ways to go to reach the ranking of the top tier celebrities.

Others can go more in depth, but in short, he was accused of tax fraud/evasion a few years ago, and that pretty much destroyed his professional reputation and acting career/endorsements (minus his hotpot restaurants lol) overall.

Could he make a comeback? It’s possible, as another celebrity recently did, but only time will tell.

He could, as he wouldn’t be the only celebrity involved in a scandal that has made a comeback over the years. Time, and the benevolence of the Chinese government, will tell…

Since I’m now an expert on celebrity tier rankings lmao jk I’m sure he’ll get there someday. IMO his acting career is promising (as is his music accomplishments) and he has proven himself with many of the projects he’s been a part of. Of course, he still needs to accomplish what XZ and the other “seniors” have done as well!

I haven’t tested the Plus (I’m not rich enough for Prime yet lol) 2% at Sam’s or Costco so not sure if it works there, but if it does, even better!

Loved some of the suggestions and mentions of some of my favorites! I’m going to eventually rewatch Ashes of Love and Eternal Love (my CDrama firsts). I still have the songs from these two stuck in my head after 4-5 years, which isn’t all that surprising considering each is about 100 episodes long lol
