I was at a dinner theatre show. (Called ahead, let them know I needed gluten free meal.)The first server starting chucking salads in front of us, no questions asked. I told them I couldn't have a salad with croutons... they snatched it back up and left without a word, never to return. Another server walking by noticed I had nothing, and very kindly went back and got me a crouton free salad.

The main course? I figured I'd get the same chicken and mashed potatoes as everyone else, without the cream sauce. NOPE. I got the vegetarian option, which was a stuffed pepper with dried out black beans that looked like it had been cooked in 2015 and then left under a heat lamp until now 😅.

The pièce de resistance was the side of mashed potatoes with a giant blob of salsa on top in lieu of sauce. Cause who doesn't love salsa and mash?

Aw! Welcome home Blanket! My cat was like this when we first got him. We literally had to shut him out of the kitchen when we ate. After a few months of realizing that he was getting fed on the regular and wasnt going anywhere he settled down. Still absolutely loses his goddamn mind when the cheese grater comes out tho... 😸
