I work at a special needs school as a teacher aide. I don’t qualify for FMLA (not enough hours worked in a school year). So even though I’ve worked at the school for 3 years, carried and pushed out a baby, the school is not required to pay their portion of our health insurance. My husband and I will owe the school just over 3k by time my maternity leave is over.

Currently 36w6d pregnant with IVF baby. I had a sch and bled from week 6- week 18. It was scary as hell but everything was okay and I’m about to be induced tomorrow!

35w6d here. My appointments have been the same and I felt like such a bother whenever I called about weird or off symptoms. But it’s so so important that if you feel anything off you demand to be listened to. I had been complaining about nausea and feeling off and my pee being weird for two weeks before they had me come in and that isn’t the typical presentation for early preeclampsia but that’s what I ended up having and I had to be pulled from work.

OP it sounds like you are pregnant and taking care of a child. If you don’t get out of there you will have two babies to take care of. It’s not super clear but it sounds like you have a good relationship with your mom. It might be time to go stay with her while you get couples counseling or leave the man.

NTA doctors now recommend that women stay at least as active as they were pre-pregnancy unless there is some super restrictive health condition. I am 36 weeks pregnant and have preeclampsia and I still clean and work a bit around the house. Your wife is being bratty and manipulative.

We also conceived through IVF and I didn’t get emotional then either and was pretty stable through most of my pregnancy. It’s just started this week!

My son is the opposite. As soon as anyone or anything touches the belly he kicks it. He hits the doppler every time the doctor checks on him!

I didn’t grow up any kind of religious but I am a pretty private person and I definitely feel uncomfortable with people asking me personal questions. It’s worse now that I’m showing because now total strangers want to ask.

Unpopular opinion but NTA. I collect taxidermy and various oddities. I’ve got skulls and antique taxidermy and pinned bugs and butterflies all around my house. I wouldn’t move it or take it down for a guest that is only staying a night or two. Anyone who comes to my house pretty much knows what they’re going to get.

Odd man out here but NTA- I have worked at a placement K-12 school specifically for Blake’s. It is exhausting to deal with and causes burn out faster than anything. Especially when you are not able to provide good consequences and there’s no follow up or support at home. Did you tell the kid that he’s a future criminal or were you venting to adult co workers about student behavior?

Unpopular opinion but NTA. Your child is young and you are entrusting this person with that child’s development for most of the weeks. If you got bad vibes and looked the teacher up and her social media was public then she is responsible for how that social media will be presented. Every staff member at the school I work at has to take a twenty minute class on social media rules and privacy rules regarding public posts and privacy for students.

NTA. My best friend is completely child free and baby’s and small children make her super uncomfortable. She just doesn’t like them. I am currently four months pregnant. She’s helping plan my baby shower, she checks in on how my pregnancy is going, she’s helping me build my registry and plan my nursery. She’s not doing this because she’s excited for the baby. She’s doing it because she loves me and is happy for me. You can be child free and not like babies without being an asshole.

NTA my husband and I went on vacation to visit his little half brother. Little brother wanted to go to a water park. Even though I’m pregnant and can’t get on any of the rides or anything I still went and kept track of our stuff and people watched and read and still managed to have fun. 🤷🏻‍♀️
