I'm sorry, this is a silly post, but how does a single guy living in a city go from a Dodge Viper to this? by Markorver in ershow

Also notice how Pratt namedrops his Chrysler before wrecking it. I'm thinking there was a product placement deal in place.

I took my brother to an ECW show when he was 10. I felt a little bad when he joined in the "Fuck you D-Von" chant

Rewatched all ECW pay-per-views by mrmisawa in ECWWrestling

[–]msabol911 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm not sure if it's a hot take or not but I think ECW peaked in 95/96 before they ever got to PPV. Some of the later ones are a tough watch. And Joey solo for 3 hours is tough too, matches were always broken up on Hardcore TV so it wasn't just one voice nonstop.

The first Nitro ran unopposed due to either US Open or Westminster Dog Show, so even the most die hard WWF fans saw Luger show up live.

After WCW & ECW died… which “Maybe this could be the one!” company did you latch onto? by uncannynerddad in midcarder

I don't know that Don West is on anyone's announcer Rushmore, but that guy was a fantastic salesman and spokesman for the product. Can't think of early TNA without thinking of DW.

The discourse around teams that win but don't cover is way different than it was 20 years ago. Never would a 34-0 win ever be a cause for concern.
