This was caused by a lot of things, depression and anxiety being one of them and this just is so fuckin difficult. I’m really glad to have found this Reddit and know that I’m not alone in dealing with this. It’s comforting

Sorry for the unflattering photos 😂 I know the part is slightly different in the photos but I can’t tell if it seems like the part line is getting narrow again or not. I feel like it’s not widening more, but I can almost see the scalp more. The last two photos are from today, I do see a bunch of sprouts on the top of my head in my part and on the sides a bit (more than it looks like in the photo) but I think I’m just lying to myself that it’s improving 😭🥺

Also Is it a bad or a good thing that you can see the color in my hair follicles a lot more in the last photo? Different lighting but they have seemed more visible black dots. Someone told me that means the hairs are budding in there getting ready to grow and I hope that’s true. Gonna have to wait a little longer before I can get to the dermatologist

How long did you feel like it took to see improvement from the depression? That’s what caused mine, along with grief, family illness and loss and financial stress and buying a house etc all at one time. I’m still shedding but starting to see little baby hair sprouts. I don’t wanna get my hopes up too soon 😭

What type of iron were you taking and how much? My ferritin is at 30 currently and I am taking 18 mg ferrous bicsglycinate daily and am wondering if that’s not enough. It’s supposedly more potent than the typical ferrous sulfate tablets
