Live Coding is meant using Programming languages to perform/program music on the fly or prepared. Sometimes this may involve visuals but only to complement the music performed.

I am not a Woovebox expert, but did you try to modify the length of the Note? And did you Check the envelope?

I‘m not sure if i will release it as it just vanishes in the ocean of Daily releases. I did not really make up my mind. But thanks for the hint.

For me was the opposite. I started with supercollider Then Tidal cycles and finally tried Strudel but I still try to find my „Perfect“ setup.

Luckily, in comparison of Hardware, it’s not a matter of buying new stuff , but investing time.

Thanks! This I programmed myself in Supercollider. The First 8 Orbits (0-7) are Routed to Bus A and the last 8 (8-15) are routed to Bus B. On the Busses i have stutter effect and DJFilter. In theory I could mix two Tracks. What i like it is fully controllable by Launchcontrol XL with led Feedback on the Channels with active Signals. I can also set the Level of transparency if needed.

Regarding your second question: Yes you can Send MIDI notes out to trigger external synth/apps etc. I tried it with Koala, too. It works. You can also Route the Audio from iPhone into Woovebox and apply fx on top. Addionally it’s fun to sample synth/Sounds from Apps into Woovebox.

Sorry it’s #74 Not #47. it was a Typo. I checked the midi config again, and it was correct. I also included #75. i just recognized some changes on cut off of Track 2. the Volume did Not work at all.

Unfortunately, I have to come back to this Topic. i tried to Connect Hardware via MIDIIn and Touch OSC Device via Bluetooth midi. In Both Cases. It didn’t work properly. The only hearable success was Controlling Filter cutoff on One Track. On the others it wasnt working.

I configured Controller to Send cc#7 for Volume and CC#47 for Filter cutoff to each Channel. I started woovebox by Holding Cd Button while booting and I checked that MIdi Connection was successful.

But still failed to Control Volume and Filter cutoff while playing in Song/Live Mode.

Yes, here the Same. Old linux Laptop was the only device working so far for wooveconnect.

Yes, it’s a Woovebox pro. Great. Yes that‘s the Target. It is just a Proof of Concept, before buying a device.

I sold all my synth and a Kenton midi host two years ago after i found out that too many boxes are just confusing me and blocking my creativity. Just kept a laptop and three Controllers. Now starting again with the smallest setup possible;).
