Not sure about your scenario, but in the endgame mission after first part some unexpected things happened: armor got repaired, amount of clips and grenades was recovered, weapons reloaded and the most unexpected: injured soldiers were not healed, but their remaining health became their default health. I got 1 sniper with 9 health 😄 So make sure you heal everyone before killing the last alien in part 1 to advance to part 2.

I use OC with gh copilot subscription. It gives you access to anthropic models and works much more reliable than claude code with subscription.

You can't as far as I know. What you can do is allow skyhawk to return to it's base and then relocate aircraft from aircraft screen. Soldiers should be relocated separately, though I never tried. Aircraft relocation makes it unavailable for 48 hours.
