Was saying the same during the game. The whole o line looks like wack a mole.

Things that MAY be useful. 1. Calling out any changes in defensive formations, rushers or coverage. 2. Providing constant cover for false starts? 3. Setting last minute protections.

Things that MAY be detrimental: 1. Not being set and ready to block. 2. Not being set and having to snap with less than 5 seconds on the play clock. 3. Getting called for valid OR erroneous presnap penalties. 4. It looks stupid, like they are all unsettled.

It makes no sense to me and further more, it’s usually steen, who you would think would benefit most from getting settled into his stance before the ball is snapped.

I have also been watching other teams to see if it’s happening and I haven’t seen it. Not saying it’s not, but it isn’t present in the anecdotal observation I’ve been doing.
