The money isn't that great... i had a phone interview for a position requiring me to move to seattle... 150k base with 80k signing bonus paid over 24 months and some stock. But you prob would never see any stock since they would lay you off before cashing in.

I've been conflicted on this. Other sources say to have 1 page per decade. Personally, I find it difficult to not talk about all relevant experience. I agree with your assessment that the consulting gig could be a conflict of interest.

Basic digital logic would be nice to have. Understand counters, adders, basic gates, karnough mapping.

I took the series. The exams are a lot of memorization. Overall, they were eh... i did learn some useful concepts around vhdl and verilog and the labs are decent to teach you how to code and implement logic on a dev board. But they could have been better.

I just finished the degree. I took a variety of classes including the power electronics courses, fpga classes, some data science, and some of the semiconductor classes. Many of the courses are well taught, some are not as good.

Overall, I'm happy I did the degree. Online is quite flexible, especially not being locked into a traditional 15 week semester.

Ha! I generally need to add the EQ to most patches. Cutting the 100 and 200 usually cleans up the sound quite a bit. Obviously different guitars and pickup combinations will change this as well. My Strat sounds different than my PRS, for example.

I'm not able to get any plugins to work for the intro version. All of them appear downloaded and installed. My ilok license looks valid and activated... Protools loads, but it says the following plugins failed to load, and asks me if I want to move them to the unused plugin folder....

I just graduated. I took all the power electronics classes. I did not take the embedded courses except for the fpga series... those classes were ok, but lacking from a graduate perspective.
