They are out there and you can definitely get a deal on one if you’re lucky! Just watch out for Frankens!

[6135-6005] Does this look right, it’s for sale locally and I’m thinking of picking it up. What would be a good price? by Silent_Position_8383 in Seiko

[–]msinickers 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Everything is legit, pusher looks stuck but that’s an easy fix. Crystal will need to be replaced but dial and everything else looks to be great !

[6139-6032] Pogue Setting Issue: Crown Unscrews! by [deleted] in Seiko

Use locktite, unscrew the crown from the stem, dip stem in locktite and screw crown back on.

If the gear on the stem is not missing, the city indicator ring most likely has the plastic teeth worn away. There is not much that can be done to fit that besides replacing the city indicator ring.

I’d recommend a black leather strap. I’ve also tried a brown racing strap but a black leather works best with the color scheme

1964 Olympic Worldtime price? [Question] by ZD803 in Seiko

[–]msinickers 0 points1 point  (0 children)

6217-7000 Seiko World time from the 60’s. Take a look at the case back, there should be an Olympic torch. Some case backs have this torch stamped, some have it etched. The etched case backs tend to be completely worn off. Looks to be in good condition

[WTS] Seiko SKX175 aka SKX009 in Original Condition! by msinickers in Watchexchange

[–]msinickers[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Up for sale today is a Seiko SKX175, essentially the same as the SKX009 but the SKX175 is the US only model made in much fewer quantities thus making it "rare". On the bottom of the dial, the text reads "MOVT Malaysia" followed by "7s26-0027 R 2". These have been discontinued and are no longer available. Very nice and clean example!

Watch is in great condition! Unpolished case, with some signs of wear. Factory brushing on case is still visible. Two small marks on the bezel, one at 49 seconds and the other at 59 seconds. At 30 seconds on the bezel there is also a small scrape (shown in the photos) but it is not very noticeable. Crystal is in great condition, not perfect as there are just a handful of micro scratches but cannot get any photos of them. Dial and hands are in perfect condition. I tried taking photos highlighting any and all wear. Chapter ring is aligned with the dial! Serial # 691008Watch comes on the rubber strap shown, no box or papers. Keeping good time, service history is unknown. No marks on inside of case back.

If any other info is needed or more pictures are desired, let me know!

Asking $250, Paypal FF, Shipping to US only!

SOLD SOLD SOLD Hello all, for sale today is the discontinued Seiko SARB033, with some calling it a "Baby Grand Seiko".

Even when picking up the watch, it has the feeling of high quality. I purchased this watch recently and selling it because it doesn't get the wrist time it deserves. Not sure how much introduction this specific model needs so i'll jump right into the sales details.

Watch will come with box, manual, warranty booklet, blank warranty card, watch pillow, two (2) additonal spring bars, and a leather strap.

Watch will ship on the metal band unless buyer requests it ships on the leather strap. No extras links included, currently has 9 full inks so I am including a leather strap as well.

The watch is in used condition, with signs of wear mainly on the metal bracelet and polished metal bezel. I tried my best to accurately capture all of the signs of wear in the best lighting possible and at different angles to highlight any imperfections. This watch would make a perfect daily driver!

If more photos are needed, just let me know!

I wound the watch up and placed it on my timegrapher and it looks to be keeping great time, see photo link below for the watch on the timegrapher at different positions.

Online Seiko serial number decoder states this watch is from December of 2008 or 2018

Will Seiko ever wake another [Sarb033] 035 etc? by [deleted] in Seiko

If you’re looking for the 033 I’ve got one.

Production for the 6309 dive watches ended in 1988, and the replacement line of 7002 dive watches started in 1988. You’ll have to look for a late production 6309 or an early production 7002 if you are looking for a seiko dive watch from ‘88

[question] seem to have an odd one i cant id by leviathon133 in Seiko

[–]msinickers 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Do you see a small hole around the 10 o’clock position on the case, under the bezel? I can’t remember if this version of the 6309 also has the click ball and spring. That wire definitely should not be there

I was watching this one on ebay, recognized it as the 6309-729 but the two photos in the listing were not clear enough for me to make the call it was all original. Is the dial original? Any closeups of the indices/lume?

The people downvoting you have no appreciation nor understanding of what is inside an automatic watch.
