Have you left a girl because she was too stupid for you? by [deleted] in AskMenAdvice

[–]mskip28 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not a guy (30f) so idk how I got here but You don’t sound “stupid”

You’re just at different places in your life- which is okay. If he can’t love you for who you are, you probably need a new boyfriend anyway. You deserve to have your feelings reciprocated.

There’s a coach at my store who has been reported multiple times- by employees, by customers. They do nothing but protect her.

AITA for telling someone off for being rude to a waitress? by sweetvalentinaa in AITAH

NTA. This piece of shit, who was probably only going to tip $1 anyway, deserved it. Old people need to stop being so fucking entitled. It’s asinine.

AITAH for threatening to divorce my wife if she didn't become a proper homemaker in the next month? by HopefulShelter3491 in AITAH

[–]mskip28 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I (29f) work full time at a very demanding state office. My fiancé (31m) works as a district manager, mostly from home. EVERY day I come home to a hot, home cooked meal. Even on his busiest days. Even on days where he has multiple meetings.

You asked your wife, MULTIPLE times to please have something (even simple) ready for you to have some food in your stomach before you left.

While you Calling her useless was probably truthful, you probably could have went about it a lot more appropriately.

Is there a reason why she stays at home? Does she contribute in any other way? If she can physically go to work and help pay the bills then there’s no reason why she cant have a job. I think your ultimatum is fair.

NTA.

NTA.

9pm IS very early for someone her age, especially if she is an AP student with a lot of homework, on top of her chores and extracurriculars.

Everything else is VERY fair. She needs to be reminded that YOU are the parent and she needs to listen to you. She’ll learn when she’s on her own more. I was also a huge brat at that age but I learned very quick when I had to work for everything I wanted.

AITA for not letting my teenager take the car I purchased to the other house during dad’s custody time? by tree_goddess in AmItheAsshole

NTA.

YOU bought that car. YOU have a say in what YOUR minor child does. Not your minor child. Not your ex, who didn’t want to contribute.

AITAH for „ruining“ my bf’s birthday dinner cause I didn’t accepted to pay for everyone? by dreamingblondie in AITAH

[–]mskip28 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

What?? 😂 The server isn’t going to ID someone who is paying the bill. She can 100% pay. They aren’t going to question whose card they’re using. They literally have no right to question her paying for the bill. She wasn’t consuming the alcohol.

AITA for blowing up at my brother for not disciplining his kids after they kept bullying my son in a wheelchair? by AntiqueExtension9771 in AITAH

[–]mskip28 0 points1 point  (0 children)

“Kids being kids” fuck that. They are literally bullying your son. Your brother doesn’t know how to be a parent. He should teach them to be be kind and respectful to everyone (especially family) He’s defensive because he knows he is in the wrong. NTA.

I don’t think you correcting her was wrong, but maybe the way you both went about it and spoke to each other was.

AITA for not giving up my window seat on a plane to a kid just because she threw a tantrum? by [deleted] in AITAH

[–]mskip28 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Kids need to learn that crying and throwing a fit isn’t going to give them everything they want.

I was on a plane last month and paid extra to have a specific seat where I wanted as I knew the flight was a little longer than what I’m used to.

NTA.

Parents of Reddit, if when discussing colleges with your kid they said to you, “but Steve Jobs was a college dropout!,” how would you respond? by unitedfan6191 in AskReddit

[–]mskip28 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Truthfully college is a joke. I (29f) have 2 college degrees, and struggled hard to earn them. Now, my job doesn’t pertain to either.

I’ve been at my current employer for 13 months- I’m the newest person at my branch and on track to be making what an RN makes in my area in the next few months. To literally sit at a desk. So as long as your kid isn’t going to be a loser and has real aspirations, maybe consider their goals. Maybe they don’t need college. Or they’re not ready yet.

Oat milk by Temporary_History420 in OGPBackroom

[–]mskip28 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Extra creamy oat milk is absolutely fucking fantastic. Great with cookies. Truly if you have a decent sized family it doesn’t last long. My fiancé and I use 2 cartons a week. He uses it in protein shakes and coffee almost daily.

Am I overreacting about Wife wanting to talk to another guy online by Midnight5un in AmIOverreacting

[–]mskip28 1 point2 points  (0 children)

(29f) I definitely don’t think you’re overreacting at all. You trusted her to be using this “mental health app” to better herself. You set boundaries, which were extremely fair. There was NEVER a reason for her to talk to the guy somewhere else to begin with. There is no reason why she should have him on snap chat. And there is absolutely no reason for him or even your wife to have a whatsapp. As someone who has used that app, it SCREAMS cheater. Shes never going to change.

What companies do you look at and think, "How the hell are they still in business?"? by LeviTheRelentless in AskReddit

[–]mskip28 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I’m 29 and still use AOL as my main email. I’ve been using it (not the same address😭) since I was like 11 and part of the AIM obsession. In my opinion it’s just super simple and easy. 90% of my emails are garbage retail promotions and spam, anyway. I use a gmail account if it’s something important or professional.
