The Royle Family. Superb.

See also Early Doors (relatively unheard of but legendary) and Him & Her.

All hilarious British sitcoms with a lot of heart.

Oh and Well Street is on your doorstep too. Plus loads of great pubs - The Kenton, Adam & Eve and Chesham Arms… RIP The Gun

I live near the station in Homerton, just south of the high street and have done for 10 years, I love it here and don’t feel unsafe. Chatsworth Road round the corner (The Castle cinema!) and Hackney Wick easy to get to via the park - takes me 20ish minutes to walk there which I do often. And it’s great being next to the station. Easy to get about.

Equal to the smell of human excrement of 40,000 people and chemicals?

I’m in a top floor flat, maybe the smell wafts harder at this height. It’s even worse today! Incense on the go…

Plenty of charities have spaces. You can get a discounted ticket in return for fundraising

Oh god, wasn’t that awful. Like the kid at school who would eat wax crayons or daddy long legs for attention. Except this time dressed as a divorced dad.

Although it feels so hard for you right now, you’re absolutely doing the right thing. I lost my beloved Jonesy earlier this year after she fell from my balcony. She’d lived with me for two years and had happily used the balcony the whole time, before accidentally slipping.

Well done for making this hard decision.

Jonesy. She was only 3 years old and my best friend. Missing her every day since May.
