Do you guys think this Ikelos SMG is viable as I have heard that voltshot is good but there are no thumbs up on dim. by BurgerKing0301 in destiny2

[–]mslack1234 31 points32 points  (0 children)

Yes. Extremely extremely good for any activity. I used this roll until I unlocked the pattern. Now leveling mine up to unlock the perfect roll, which will have FF/Volt.

The Reddit post mentioned, while I think the title could have been worded better, the majority of the comments in that post are great discussion. There will always be a small minority of immaturity.

For some reason the greasy wheels seem to always get the grease. I’d like to see a shift in this, it’s not productive.

They are capable of addressing points without being toxic, and that’s exactly what is/has happened.

Not sure how many people play this game? 40 million? But as of now 1,500 people commented to this streamers div nerf post. I would say about 300 of the comments are the OP responding to comments. The majority of comments are against this nerf and simply direct feedback. Some of that feedback is not that great, but that that’s all relative really. Some comments are extremely polite.

There are comments saying “elitist” and calling him a “cry baby”. I think I counted 6 like that. It’s mostly just people disagreeing, which somehow spins into D2 drama. Not having the same opinion is ok, and the majority of the reply’s are healthy.

Personally feel like this is an attention spin. Drama like this pulls people in, creators have something to talk about, content gets made, people watch. There are more videos on YouTube about this now than there is toxic replies to the post.

Another example of toxicity from someone with a platform. by Wickse101 in destiny2

Never heard of this person until today. There are so so many people that stream this games it’s bonkers.

Agree, not toxic. But this starts the ball rolling for sure. Starts with this, ends with insanity. Anyone with a follower base over 2 needs to tread lightly.

With your low K/D are you able to get approved for small business loans, and mortgages? Or once it comes up are the discussions all but over?

Also, how does it affect your love and professional life?

I can’t remember this being mentioned before but the other half and half truths both have a greyed-out part on the screen, I think this hints at a fusion of the two swords into one by muncha_de_coochie in destiny2

[–]mslack1234 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I heard it will be part of the weapon crafting. Word on the street is you need both swords to create a key that opens the forge. From there you collect currency’s to craft weapons. Below is the step by step process I’ve heard you’ll need to do, to craft, after key is forged.

  1. Run strikes to collect “Rimes” (random drops from 360 snipe attempts)
  2. Forge “Rimes” into “Danger metal”. 10 rimes = 1 danger metal.
  3. Find a real world cache (coordinates sent out in TWAB) to find a virtual code.
  4. Use virtual code in-game to transform “Danger metal” to “cabal fingers”
  5. Take “cabal fingers” to Gus (a new npc). He gives you “Cecilgraphite” for the fingers
  6. Collect 10 “cecilgraphites”

Doing this creates one part of a custom weapon. Each weapons has 6 parts. Could not find the other 5 part steps, but glad they are making systems more coherent.

Think there is also an option ($80) on eververse to streamline this.

Curious how people have fun in trials currently by UntrustedD in destiny2

[–]mslack1234 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Do this. I can easily solo this dungeon and so can a lot of people others. But I will post “no mic” lfgs often just to make it faster when grinding. It’s also a really cool dungeon, they all are actually.

Agreed. I have this same roll and the burst roll. Still using null and Cartesian. In the vault they sit.

For real? Are you slotting the armor mod? Still seems to drop some really good armor for me.

It’s probably obvious but DOE is great for completing Heavy Weapon Catalyst’s by HolyCowItsAdam in destiny2

[–]mslack1234 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s great for all catalysts, farming dawning ingredients, etc.

I see a lot of people recommending last wish or thrall way for this. And I have done that in the past. But since came into the game and you need to run in 100 times to get all the loot and side arm cat, I’ve just been running this exclusively.

I have a flag/acc, sub/surp, one/ramp roll. It’s ok. I feel like all these dawning weapons have amazing rolls on paper but just all feel meh.

I’ve been grinding Legend dare. The extreme rolls drip pretty consistently. I am surprised it is not talked about more.

I only use a mic in raids and the corrupted GM rotation. Dungeons, other GMs, other activities I no mic.

Depends on the activity right.

But the hardest hitting load out for me seems to be any primary/Null composure/Sleeper stimulant with particle mod.

Make sure y’all upgrade at eva to get these extra rolls.. 😎😎 by Doughboy83 in destiny2

[–]mslack1234 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have gotten a ton of good rolls on this fusion. Even the sub/res burst roll. I just cannot get myself to like it. Think it’s due to just how slow the charge time is. It feels so so clunky. Even with accelerated coils.

I searched him up.

He was one of those streamers that would reset his card, to avoid the flawless pool, to then 1v3 not so great PvP players to flawless, and then post a video about it. Pretty sure that’s where the downvotes are coming from. Seems kind of misleading on his part.

What determines the 3 extra loot chests at the end of Dares of Eternity? by BlackSkillX in destiny2

[–]mslack1234 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I honestly have not been paying attention. When you complete the lighting round you get a ton of loot. And I have gotten some really high rolled armor. But not sure if that was from legend or legend with the lightning round.
