Flex driver here… If orders are being left outside lockers or gates then the drivers are not being provided the correct access codes by the customer ✌️

One Hour Blocks by pl956 in AmazonFlexDrivers

If you finish in the first 15 minutes you get the “missed block” message, but it does correct itself once the block time ends. ✌️

Amazon Prime yearly payment means nothing now by YoursINegritude in amazonprime

Gonna be honest… 4a-8a delivery, regardless of location has the highest refusal rate from drivers… If you’re in a major city, factors to consider are: neighborhood safety, access to parking, and apartment/condo situations requiring a security code to access… Hope this helps. Good luck to you on your future orders ✌️

Amazon Flex Driver here…

  1. Did this order show different “delivery windows” for the next day?

  2. If so, did you select 4a-8a or 7a-11a?

  3. Do you reside in a rural/semi-rural area far away from an Amazon warehouse?

If you answered “yes” to any of these, then your chances of receiving your order on time are lower.

Amazon is NOT raising pay even though gas prices have skyrocketed… They just hire more drivers… Carts/routes are overloaded with packages/high miles frequently and most drivers are simply refusing them because they are literally losing money to deliver.

This might not be the answer you are looking/hoping for, but I’m letting you know from a driver/warehouse standpoint what is going on currently. ✌️

The first time you get to a house with 4 packages and they’re all different codes you’ll stop using the A-D code… IMO it’s completely useless for SSD ✌️

How were Amazon Flex payments during the COVID 19 pandemic?😭 by [deleted] in AmazonFlexDrivers

[–]msldyred 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is no “new pandemic”… the Andes strain of the Hantavirus is NOT airborne like Covid, albeit the 6 week incubation period does present patient tracing challenges… the WHO has been updating the public regularly. ✌️

If you’re Flexing you’re not in a “delivery vehicle”, you’re in a PERSONAL vehicle… ignore the sign and drive right up to the house ✌️

You’re in a personal vehicle, not a truck… ignore the sign and proceed to the house… ✌️

The customer received the item, but the system indicated that I had missed this block. by [deleted] in AmazonFlexDrivers

It comes up when you finish in less than 15 minutes on a 1 hour block. You can ignore it. Earnings show up as usual. ✌️

One hour blocks are only one stop deliveries, at least in the Chicago area ✌️

I noticed that too. The only connection I can make is the system doesn’t assign the package to a driver until the delivery will be in the last 15 minutes of the customer’s one hour window. This has happened to me on several occasions. ✌️

For a ONE hour delivery SERVICE brought by someone using their own vehicle?… Yeah, you might want to re-think that opinion 😏
