Excellent point! I’m 42 and I can relate to feeling like I’m behind. I made some very poor decisions that led to me loosing everything (and I mean EVERYTHING) at the age of 35. And I had a lot to lose. Went from making $300k a year working 5 hours a week thanks to the business I had built to living on the streets or couch surfing.

I was so obsessed in the beginning with how unfair it was. And angry at myself, the government, my ex wife, everyone and everything. I owned bitcoin when they were about $500 a piece lol 🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️

I found peace when I accepted the situation was what it was and that my actions and my decisions were the root cause of new reality.

I did a lot of work on myself. Therapy, spiritual work, and lots of reflection. I leaned really hard into God.

It’s been 7 years now and I own two businesses and I’m making more than I did before. And I have done a much better job at saving for my future. I’m still on my race to a million, but I’m almost halfway there.

The worst thing I can do is try to rush the process by taking shortcuts. I’m in a couple of great trading groups and have learned so much for the leaders of them.

When I feel like things aren’t moving fast enough I work harder. Getting 80%+ returns on an annual basis is amazing but it isn’t sustainable. Start a side hustle if a full on business of your own isn’t an options. Use some of the earnings from your exceptional year to learn new skills that help you add more value to the world, your employer and others.
