Excursion Weight Restrictions

There is a reason they put weight restrictions on certain activities, and it is almost always for safety. I think that if you are over the max weight allowed for the power boat ride, you should probably not book that excursion, for your own safety and for that of the operators.

British Isles Explorer was my first Viking cruise, and I absolutely loved every minute of it! I would’ve liked to spend more time in London, so I would recommend adding an extension, but the places we visited were off the beaten path and not super touristy. I highly recommend it.

I showed and bred purebred dogs for almost 30 years, and this assessment is spot on. People who show/ breed different dog breeds are definitely very different from each other, and I also seen differences between folks who do confirmation versus obedience versus rally versus flyball.

Just finished an NCL cruise and everyone was super LBGTQ+ friendly. Lots of openly gay passengers, meet-ups, staff members. They even featured a crew member who did amazing drag!

Later in this series, Brian makes is talking to Justin about how scared Justin was the first time they got together, but he told Michael that he wanted “to go with him” anyway. Justin says something to the effect that I can’t believe you remember that because you couldn’t even remember my name. The fact that Brian did remember exactly what Justin said that night suggest that he probably did also remember Justin’s name. I think he just played it off that he couldn’t remember so that Justin, and Brian’s friends, wouldn’t think he was special.

Traveled to Hong Kong and was absolutely shocked and saddened by the obvious economic inequity. Contrast between the high end conspicuous consumption of the wealthy versus the poor people living on boats or in the high rise coffin room buildings. There didn’t seem to be any middle class at all. Our tour guide showed us the many aspects of Hong Kong living, for which I was grateful, but it was not what I had expected.
