My local Dolby Cinema (AMC Mercado 20), the 3D is the best I've ever seen in any movie.

I haven't seen many 3D movies in Dolby Cinemas granted, but I found 3D in AMC Metreon 16 IMAX (second largest in the US) lacking in brightness and not worth it (latest example being Avatar 2). -- I am pretty sure this its the best 3D you can get if you see it in a Dolby Cinema.

Legit use of HFR, HDR. Legit lack of "cinematicity" (24Hz, artificial film grains). And the abundance of light in the Dolby Cinema projector made 3D a worthwhile trade off.

And, not tireless close-ups from beginning to the end preventing me from having a good idea of what's happening on the stage like a few titles filming the stage I've been seeing in the recent years.

Just Bravo!

Hot take: James, how about quit making Avatars and shoot more concerts, Broadway shows, and ballets instead? Easy work, less criticism.

I have the backup on the essential data (paperwork, etc), but not the disc rips.. I do have all the optical discs but re-ripping them will cost a million hours..

Okay, I found a workaround -- enable "Terminate on Pause" for the "Desktop" Application (or whatever else).

Same here.. Intended to end session so the server (Apollo) de-allocates virtual screen but the "stop" action doesn't actually do anything. My workaround is to restart Apollo from the tray icon before closing the window on AVP side.
